Two Things No One Tells You About the New Toyota Tacoma | Review 

I’ve had my 4th gen taco since April, it’s an sr5 and overall is a solid truck. Yes the rear legroom is smaller but I’m 5’9” and sitting behind my driver seat I’m doing fine. I’m averaging 24 mpg so I’m getting 350+ on a full tank as well I usually stay 2k rpm’s and under unless I have to go quicker then it’s just under 3k so that adds to my range.

On my 3rd gen tacoma I average 21mpg on a 8 mile trip in the city. My truck also has 33" tires and a 3 inch lift. I think mpg varies widely on the driver and their habits.

There are definitely better options in this segment.

I have a 1988 Toyota truck and im getting that kind of milage-plus i have a bigger tank. (Standard transmission)

I have not seen a 2024 Limited in person yet. I own a 2024 Off-Road. How much lower does the Limited sit as compared to the Off-Road due to tire size differences and suspension? A few inches lower? Great looking truck you have.

I've owned my 4th Gen OR since March.. 7k miles on it. I easily do 300+ miles on a tank, that's with 285/70-17 KO3's and a roof rack. Before I went with larger tires and the rack I averaged about 340 miles to a tank. A lot has to do with how you drive and where you drive. Windspeed/direction can make a huge impact on your mpg. The rear legroom does suck but this is the same issue in every midsize truck except for the Jeep Gladiator and Honda Ridgeline, and I have no doubt that manufacturers are intentionally keeping it small so that families are forced to buy full-sized trucks instead.

Get back later on when you get around 20k miles on that 8-speed.

Here's one, its not longer better than the Ranger or the Colorado. The last gen Tacoma would at least run forever, I don't think thats true with the new one.
