Just droveI-40 to Cali down to 58 to I-10 from LA to Dallas(via I-20). Saw it for myself that these are much larger than those at the Cali installations, and holly crap, these really do run for over 50 miles.

Wow, that's truly fascinating. Palm Springs also has a pretty large wind farm, but it doesn't go on for what seems like miles and miles, like what you displayed in this video. Eventually, California will have some sprawling wind farms, but probably not like what I just saw in this video.

Wow, that's huge, and I thought the wind farm near Portland TX was big. The sped up footage causing the turbines to spin "faster" looked really cool.

These videos keep getting better and better. Between you and catjp, I can't decide who is the greatest freeway vid filmographer on youtube.

I've also seen some farms on I10 in Texas, a ways east of El Paso. Things are huge!

Avesome! Very good idea of green energy development Nuclear power plants could be dangerous like Fukushima in Japan this year ... Thanks for the ride !

Not free, very expensive in terms of subsidies and cost to the environment and health.

Fantastic video. You picked a great day to shoot, as the cloud formations on this particular day are really stunning. I live in Northern CA, and the couple of wind farms we have out here (Altamont Pass and Rio Vista) pale in size to these. Keep up the good work!

Wind and solar are the way to go, plus cleaner coal. It would be cool if we can design every house, business and factory to produce and generate their own energy through solar, wind, refuse etc instead of feeding and straining our current over centralized and outdated electricity grid

Even though we have dozens of these in Holland, it's still awesome to see so many in one location. We usually don't have more then 35 of these near eachother, but we have hundreds of locations where they are built. Nice video :D I really enjoy your videos, keep 'em coming please :D

Windfarms Bend the Magnetic field - i have proved this at the bungendore wind farm - which has a nuclear waist dump next to it - big mistake when you understand magnetism. In 2012 i took two rocks of quarts and i weighed them in canberra - they have a send and receive side so i weighed them pushing and pulling together - they 1.2kg and 1.199 kg respectively - then i went to bungendore windfarm and weighed them underneath the turbines - the rocks were 1.203 grams and 1.201 grams - then i drove to Malua Bay and weighed them directly on the seam of quarts on the south side of the beach and the rocks weighed 1.205 and 1.202 grams. This proves that the sky - the magnetic field has different heights and therefore different pressures on gravity. There is a lot of quarts surrounding the wind farm at bungendore - at the lake george lookout there is a seam of quarts amongst the shale - it is also fractured and split - I also proved the wind farm makes the sky bend down buy pouring a black cup of coffee onto the quarts - this created a cloud above the windfarm straight away. - coffee on quarts creates clouds and stops volcanos from rising up to the surface - the caffeine evaporating is a similar vibration to salt evaporating which creates the clouds. I have been putting coffee on quarts for years to help amplify the power of salt for years - i was very proud of my girl - at 38 Flinders st Eden which has a seam of quarts underneath her which touches the ocean as well - buy putting coffee on the quarts the salt was more powerful making the sydney to hobart 3 hours faster - in short it made the water harder making the boats sit ontop of the water creating less drag. In the future if boats used pummerstone paint in the fiberglass they would go even faster. Back to Windfarms creating volcanos - If i didn't put the coffee onto the quarts the volcanos at new zealand - asia and america would be a lot closer to the surface - perhaps would have gone off already. The problem is the wind farms are now adding to the floods around the world - please shut them down and use sewage to make energy instead.

So you are saying at 2:24 that one wind unit can power 562 houses? Is it possible that one house in Texas buy one unit like that one for personal usage? Or smaller? Is it cheaper that paying electric bill?

The first time I saw these was at night and I had no idea what the hell they were. They were just red glowing lights in the sky. Next morning, I felt like an idiot lol

I want to be off the grid as much as the next guy, but at the present time it is more cost efficient to purchase fossil fuels. Until the free market and new technology bring prices down, I will continue to use the proven energy sources. I hate it when the government tries to pick winners and losers... They subsidize failures.. How do I know that green energy companies fail? Because nobody wanted to invest in them. The fundamentals are shit. You can't make a profit without subsidies.
