TX Loop 1604 Outer - San Antonio - Texas - 4K Highway Drive 

I honestly enjoy driving on roads in areas that are less developed especially in SA where every green space gets replaced by an apartment complex, gas station or retail store. Greetings from the NE near Converse.

it is honestly such a relief. as someone who has lived on the far northwest side (Helotes area) for 20 years it is long overdue and well worth the construction time. honestly, they should be future-proofing (I'd say 5 main lanes each way especially with the megaplex being inevitable in the near future) since the far NW side is/ has been some of the fastest-growing zip codes in the nation for years now. very nice city, just wish we had more sports, more events (and a microcenter) as well as more national coverage. we honestly have more to offer for tourists in our metro than Austin does. yet very little coverage. probably gonna move to the Houston area to get the time to grow but glad ill always be able to call myself a local. also once youve lived in SA with the "Tex-Mex" nothing north of New Braunfels or East of Seguin will ever compare.

Probably lol. I always avoid 1604 because of how awfully backed up it is in the evening

Definitely off-peak then. during peak hours. the traffic for the Culebra light is usually backed up to the off-ramp. When I'm going to Alamo Ranch at any time I usually get on at Shanefield then take the Alamo Ranch Parkway exit to avoid that whole intersection. @@MileageMikeTravels
