It’s very hard on both sides. I live with in laws all my life with my husband’s parents and auntie now is not easy but my in laws were very loving parents and grandparents to my children. I treated them well but sometime we have conflict over things too. We are human and at times we get frustrated. Please be nice and fair to both sides

I don't know about hmong parents but i already plan to stay at nursing home when I'm old. I don't want to be a burden to anyone. We want to heard both side of the story cause we don't know the truth.
Bingo!!! There are plenty of retirement homes these days. They are pricey but start saving now plus insurance covers a portion of it, too. When we get old, we can't put that responsibility on our kids. I, too, don't want to be a burden on anyone. I think you'll have a better relationship with your nyabs and vauvs if you are more independent and not rely so heavily on your sons and daughters.

Such sad story, it's sad that the sons can't defend their moms and have their wives do that to their parents. The hardships that our parents goes through, they don't deserve this. Not everyone is perfect, mother in laws nor daughter inlaws. Remember everyone will get old. Karma will come get it. My kids love my mother in law so much, I will never in my mind say anything horrible about their grandma to my kids. These womans are horrible. At times I get mad at my mother in law for not letting me wash her clothes, sometimes when she cooks, I'm like why this old lady don't cook for me and my family too. Lol.
