txt is one of my ult groups but even i don’t really understand their storyline 😭 what’s interesting is they have a song on the new album called “tinnitus” and if you notice in the music video everytime beomgyu is surrounded by the butterflies there’s a ringing/chiming sound, but it goes away as soon as another member is on screen meaning beomgyu is the only one experiencing it. not sure what it means, but it is cool 😭

the whole album is amazing!! I think the first track on this album, "devil by the window" (btw it has a performance/choreo) gives a lot of context to "sugar rush ride" in terms of who they're tempted by but I'm honestly still not really sure who exactly is the devil. yeonjun?? peter pan?? the evil cat with heterochromia???

The Opening track of The album "devil by the window" tells an interesting story , That seems to be dialogue between Them & The devil who wants Them to stay in Neverland, Even in the choreography for it has a part when Taehyun has a mischievous grin whispering in Yeonjun's ear, The whole album in order from beginning to end depicts Their journey from getting tempted to stay, to realizing things are not perfect as They thought it was.

I’m a staymoa so I really appreciate this reaction to Txt’s new title track❤. The whole album is worth listening to, so if you find the time you should check it out (but so is their whole discography really!). In the concept trailer for this album they‘re reading and referencing Peter Pan, so you two got that right😇 The song and MV Tori remembered was 0X1=LOVESONG, they were in their emo/rock era then.

This MV reminds me so much of the Greek myth of the Lotus-eaters. In the myth, Odysseus and his men were shipwrecked on an island where people ate lotus flowers, which caused them to forget their home and loved ones, and only long to stay with their lotus-eaters, making them sleepy, blissful, and apathetic. You can see Yeonjun and Soobin interact with flowers, Kai touches a lizard that changes psychedelic colors, and Taehyun interacts with the wisteria/feathers. Beomgyu is like Odysseus, he realizes what is happening and tries to avoid the butterflies that chase him and Yeonjun, who has fully succumbed.

It was released on my birthday so I claimed it as my birthday gift from them and "The Sound" is the one from SKZ (thank u timezones for allowing both being out on the same day for me) 🤣🥳

You got the idea of them getting on the island excitedly and then leaving solemnly spot on, the train is also a prominent symbol in their storyline. In the lyrics and the vibe of the song there is definitely two sides, the airy and funky part is from their point of view, the darker part is from the ‘devil’s’ point of view, and here the devil is the temptation to stay young.

I started listening to TXT like you guys because of BTS and them being "younger brothers" and the interactions... funnily enough, they were also the first group I bought albums from beside BTS. I always love the albums and I don't think they have any skippable songs in any of them, although I tend to actively listen more to groups like Ateez, SKZ, Oneus or Monsta X. But this comeback, honestly this album is going to be blasting in the next few weeks and probably be featured in a couple of playlists. I hope that at some point further down the line of your channel (cause we know it can be overwhelming if you check too many groups) you react to more TXT and maybe add Seventeen

I’m so happy you decided to react to this. This might be my favorite comeback of theirs since “0x1=Lovesong” in 2021 when they were in their emo rock faze 😅 This is their most mature comeback that they’ve had in my opinion and I love it cause I think they were ready for it. So the concept of the song and music video at least what I got from the teasers and the trailer is dreamland/ nightmare(temptation) so anytime they’re in the water and forest they’re in the dreamland but when the chores drops and everything has more of a purple/dark undertone they’re in the nightmare or being tempted. Idk what the temptation is but what I got from the concept of the album is to stay in Neverland and and escape the responsibilities and harshness of the real world and the temptation comes in the form of Peter Pan. Idk if I’m right but that’s just my take on it 😅 hope I didn’t bore you with the long comment😅Love you ❤

As I have said before, TXT are my second favorites after Stray Kids and Yeonjun Is my second ult after Lee Know! I simply adore them and personally believe that they are the most adorable babies in the world! I just want to squize them! I loved this comeback soooo much! This song is increadable! The visuals, the vocals, the choreography! I love everything! When you said "The devil wisper in your ear" , yeah that's definately Yeonjun! The most beautiful and talented devil! I wasn't into TXT, at all, but when this song came out I was hooked. The song is such an ear worm, ya know what I mean, it just gets stuck in your head. I loved it so much that I bought the album, the Temptation version, and Bri, I got the Yeonjun one ☺️ got his poster and photocard over my shoulder in my room (i have a room where I have all my makeup, clothes/shoes, books, and K-pop that way hubby has the bedroom to play Xbox and I have my room to watch youtube etc.....tmi sorry) and also Beomgyu's photocard. The whole album is definitely worth a listen, I keep it in my car so I can listen to it while running errands. I haven't decided if I want to get more into them yet, because Ateez KEEP me busy, along with Cravity, Xikers, and Stray Kids, and I'm starting to get into Monsta X because "Beautiful Liar" was amazing. 😊

The part when you said "peter pan" it made me give an idea that this whole place that they were in, forest/island the cave, the whole place was in the neverland which is place in peter pan right? I discovered TXT as well as my journey into kpop started, but I couldn't latch on as much as SKZ or BTS haha. So I hadn't watched this one yet, but it was really fun to watch it with you two! The song is really funky and I loved the change-up for the chorus and as you already said: the contrast in the MV is telling. I love love love the fashion. I'm a cosplayer and I'm dying to see this concept in kpop (idk if anybody has done it before, if so: do recommend me!), hoping that'll trend within other groups and there will be an extremer version of this concept (like full on costumes lol). Honestly, I'm fascinated by the group size of TXT. I started with BTS, which was a big difference from the general Western boybands and after that came Stray Kids, which were 8 (and sometimes 9 if you go back). So I'm always fascinated by TXT's formations in their choreos, it's such a difference with my reference, haha. As I said: really liked watching this with you, thanks for sharing! ❤
