Fear and loneliness are evident in Tyler's account. A mother's love is like no other. So nice to hear Tyler has experienced it. Tyler's openness and courage is inspiring. Best tribute to John Dehlin that I have heard. "God don't make mistakes......" Thanks Tyler
Tyler, what a beautiful soul! I appreciate you, your heart and passion, your bravery and honesty. The 1st thing I found on the internet (or anywhere) that reached into those secret parts of me needing validation and support was you and John Dehlin (on mormonstories). Thank you. I've held a peaked interest in you since. You let us listeners in. You feel a bit like a friend in this world of common struggle and the fight of good hearts -- from similar backgrounds and convictions. Thank you for being beatifully real. And...btw, I LOVE your song and video "Trash". And anyone who can't open up their heart enough to look beyond the surface into the depth of expression, the fight and struggle of a tender heart, are locked in a box they can't look beyond; where they feel safe within it's limited view.
Gorgeous, inside and out. P.S. The truth is never a lie. Living a lie and finding the truth is what you have done. What a mind-blowing poem/song you present in the midst of a religious battle, in this speech. You stand as a hero for everyone who wishes to have a personal relationship with God, without being judged by a religious sect. After all, when Pandora opened the forbidden box and was accosted by the greatest monstrosities of evil, she was left with only one thing to save this planet; hope. Don't lose hope. You're deeply loved by those whom you think aren't paying attention. :-)
