Tyler Thigpen played for the Chiefs, Dolphins, and Bills between 2007 and 2012 While in the league, he threw for 3,22 yards and 21 touchdowns Fun Fact: Tyler Thigpen was the first starting quarterback in Coastal Carolina history
Thigpen was one of those guys that just appears and does something. I thought he was going to do more or hang around longer but it is what it is. He was a Chief, a Dolphin, & a Bill in his somewhat brief career. Playing for some not so good squads.
Not gonna lie, after his breakout of a season, I thought he was a better option than Matt Cassel. I think we could have won with him as he was a true gunslinger. Chan Bailey briefly molded the offense around his playing style and he made kc somewhat dangerous in his brief stint. If we could have built around him I think we would have had better success from 08-12
Is it just me but thigpen was throwing crazy dimes after watching this highlight reel, threading the needle throwing off his back foot, moving up in the pocket thigpen was really slanging that pigskin
The 2nd best QB the Chiefs had in that horrible stretch from 2007-2012. Or 3rd best because Damon Huard went 5-3 as a starter for the Chiefs in 2006 filling in for Trent Green with 11 TDS - 1 INT. Hope you can make a video on Huard soon.
