The same …I am a 5 and I don’t know what to talk about, because people love to make small talk and that makes me get tired.Most of the time I listen. I love research and alone time a lot. I am lucky enough that my friends know me very well and understand me 😊. I live a simple life and minimalistic .One thing that I love to spend the money most are books and technology( laptop, phone,kindle and headphones- to keep people away😅). The thing is that now I love my life so much because I found peace and balance😊. At 36 now and single, I don’t see the need to be in a long term relationship anymore and idea of having kids is the most stressful though ever for me. My only dream and plan for future is to help people in need and try to create a better future for them❤
I cried through the whole first half of the video because everything he was saying is exactly me. My whole life I thought something was wrong with me and it's so comforting to know there's a whole group of people out there with the same struggles. My mom is always telling me how important relationships are, and while I know it's true, I just can't. Really looking forward to the next episode with Rick to see how he grew in his faith. I was raised a Christian, but I'm worried that if I think about it hard enough I'll convince myself it's not real. So I kinda just never let myself go there and just continue blindly believing. I would say it probably definitely holds me back though in regards to learning about God, so I'm hoping the episode will talk about how he got around that!
I SOO relate to the "If I think about it hard enough, I'll convince myself that it isn't real" and the "continuing to blindly believe" part! I thought I was the only person that felt like that.😲
Man I needed this video. God is definitely speaking to me by listening to another 5. Hard to see things about yourself until you hear it come out of someone who thinks similarly. Sounds like an intj in the mbti world. Im intp 5w4.
This podcast about Type Fives helped me more than any others that I've seen! I could very much identify with many of the things that Rick shared, especially the struggles that we face. It was also refreshing to see how our faith helps us to overcome some of our challenges and also to rely on God to share our strengths in His Kingdom. Thank you so much!
I don’t believe I’m a type 5, but LOVE the comment about superlatives and cringing over “favorites”-I SO relate! Definitely feel a lot of pressure with that sort of approach because I do desire to be honest and accurate. Very interesting interview-thank you. 🙏🏼💜🙏🏼
omg im a 5 and since I don't do personal relations, I used to give my money to missionaries too. im mostly focused now in casa nana Tepic from la fuente ministerios, because the children have so many needs. Right now in my heart that's what I feel.
I’m agnostic but firmly a 5 and I loved this interview and could relate to everything Rick said so much. I wish he was my family member, it would be lovely to have one person I could identify with, lol.

I’m a 5 but have always known God throughout my life but it wasn’t until I was 39 that I was saved and as a 5 I investigated and researched before I believed but in the end it is truly only the father that draws us to him
I just recently discovered that I was a five I never knew anything about the different types of personalities. I'm a marine bedroom with a moderate PTSD and my a psychologist suggested that I might be a type 4 but after doing a test I found out I was a type 5. I'm only coming on this because I found the interesting that you said that it was weird that fives believe in Jesus are he believed in Jesus I'm not quoting him just trying to paraphrase. As a five I've come to not believe in Jesus cuz I couldn't see the sense and having a middleman that if there was an all loving God he would have to sacrifice his son so into this day I only believe in a loving father. just wanted to share that even number five I still have faith without any type of religion
