Ha. I have these little bin drawer things. I have two of them stacked under a table near my desk. Each one has a label that's a different color. There are 6 drawers. One for absent work, one for Monday, one for Tuesday, one for Wednesday, etc. I print the stuff off two days in advance so I don't have to worry about it. On Wednesday, I almost panicked because I hadn't printed off Friday's stuff. So, I quickly went and did that. I do sometimes project the work or write it on a board for them to copy. It's because they control how many copies or print-outs we can make. So, I'm paranoid I'll hit the max. That's why I sometimes do that. I do have a printer in my room. I have to buy ink for it. The rule is, we can keep the printers until they run out of ink. The school is out of ink, so I purchase my own since having a printer in the room is better than walking to the other side of the floor I'm on to get something printed if I need an extra. Or if I run out of copies (which has happened). I also buy my own paper for the printer in the classroom. I hate how controlling it is. They don't like the personal printers because the ink is more expensive and they can't limit how much we can use it. We have sign-in codes for the copiers (that are also the printers). I think part of that is to make sure we don't print stuff that isn't work-related. I never really have to print non-work related stuff. I have a printer at home for that. It's so controlling. There's no trust at all. No money either. I buy refurbished ink to save money. So far, it's worked. I'm on my third cartridge. I have one spare left. They usually last about a year. Edit: Oh, and the copiers go down sometimes, but the personal printers don't. If they go down, you're screwed unless you still have a printer in your room with ink.

I worked as an office aide during first period my senior year. Part of my duties were to walk the school and get the attendance sheets that the teachers would clip outside the classroom door. It was always the same 5 or so teachers that I needed to knock on the door and remind them about the attendance sheets.

Im a good mix of type A and Type B. I start my report card data three weeks in advance, I am always rushing out the door even though I wake up an hour before I need to leave, I usually remember to make copies but sometimes I have those days, and my kiddos are doing just fine!

I’m a typeA but I have notes written to keep me that way. My break time notes start “go to the bathroom NOW” and then list exactly what I need to check on. 😆. So apparently I’m a type A note writer who knows I’ll be type B as soon as I get a chance to sit down. 🤪

One thing about the year of online teaching that we all did is that it allowed us to almost eliminate the need for making copies. Assignments are posted on the online platform and the kids complete it and turn it in on their computer. No more lost copies! 😂

How about a combination, type C? In the morning, I’m highly Type B, and in the afternoon meeting, Type B, but in the classroom, my dealings with the actual students are Type A. The only Type B is forgetting the attendance. I get around that by delegating it to a student!

My mom was 100% the Type A teacher. One year, she spent all summer doing lesson plans for the ENTIRE year so she wouldn't have to worry about it at all... until the principal told her (two weeks before school started) that they decided to start using a different curriculum 😀

There are a few teachers in my school that are type B- taking precious minutes between classes to copy worksheets for the next class, forgetting attendence, dont even notice when a student has walked out of their classroom until 30 minutes later. Call at last minute for overheads, etc. It drives the hall aides crazy!!!!!
