Honda Street Garage Thank God for you and your crew.I love your videos and your efforts for the JDM Honda. For these wanna trolls who question any-thing you all do..CHALLENGE THEM!!..to produce edit install build and fuckin financially support some of the baddest ass builds in RU-vid..Keep up the Great Work Team H.S.G!!!
I think will be useful to mention that the head gasket does NOT go only one way in. The silver marker on the bottom left corner should always face up as it is on the video. If you fit it the other way around, motor will run, but there will be a nasty oil leak at the back side. Learned it the hard way! :D
That looks like an excellent job. One nice trick is to crank the engine without plugs so there is no compression when you build oil pressure, does it faster, easier on the battery etc
Generally I'm Subie through and through, but I gotta give it up to you. I appreciate quality Civs from seeing them back in Best Motoring Hot Version and shizz, and this is a prime example! GJ boys.
my teggy been in the shop for over a month now, getting thejrsc and engine build. cant wait to get it back :/ great job and love that civic . fucking awsome
Beautiful build. That's my dream Honda. I have every intention of painting my hatch white, just don't know what engine to go with. Might just do a y8, but I love white hatches.
My buddy has the exact copy of this car except his B18C is turbocharged. It's gorgeous. BTW, I want that Nardi wheel for my EJ8 so bad...Going for a new tune on my LS turbo soon, wish me luck!
Good vid as always and looks like a fun car. That ring compressor makes me sad though lol, I would gladly send you a scissor type compressor if you really don't have one. They'reMuch easier and not expensive. Anyway keep up the good work, supercharged Honda's never used to intrigue me, and I'm still not a big fan of blower B series builds but with the K20/24 it's a whole different story. I've built quite a few customer cars with Rotrex and similar head units providing the boost and the result is gobs of power and a nice linear power to boost curve. I really like the blower setups for a street car now because you don't have to take it to 9k just to make some boost.
So I could have met y'all from HSG at Hday, that would've been awesome wish I could have didn't know you where from around the area. It was way too hot out there at zmax in what felt like 100+ lol
ever think of compound charging? adding a turbo to a blower engine. sort of like what volvo is doing. that one guy in California compound charged a lotus and got some seriously insane numbers. only issue with compound charging, you'll prob need a new tranny. as in transmission. not like caitlyn.
