You’re the REAL MVP!!! My phone wasn’t displaying the live view, but it was recording to the dash cam. I turned off Cellular Data like you said and BOOM: I got the live preview on the phone instead of a black screen! Thanks!!!

Well, you don't do as they say in the manual for sure. In the manual they say consult your car manual to find the 'constant power'. No, such thing. Not on any car I know of. If you have a cig lighter (which some cars don't), and if it's constant power (which some do) you don't need the harness. If you do need the harness, you need to purchase a powertap that will tap into the power of one of your existing fuses and usually one of these is what's called 'constant on'. You'll need a fuse map to figure out which one it is. Do not try and wire this to a constant on power source, like directly to your battery. Never wire anything directly to your battery that doesn't have a fuse in line

I just hard wired mine into a 2021 Kia Telluride. I ran the wire across the top of the windscreen (there was enough space between the headliner and windshield to hide the wire), then under the rubber weather seal on the driver side A-Pillar and was able to get the wire into the area of the fuses while being almost completely concealed. I bought a fuse tap at Auto Zone and used a multimeter to find a fused circuit that has power (12v) even when the power is off (necessary if you want the Parked Camera function to operate). It's important that your orient the fuse tap correctly when you plug it in. The fuse tap goes into an existing fuse slot, and then has two of its own fuse slots - one for the original fuse for whatever circuit you are tapping onto and a second slot for a fuse to use for the camera circuit (I used a 10A but probably could have used somethign smaller like 7.5 or 5A). @@Seandoestech Wow, the AZ Dome 4K is about $70 cheaper and better. I wonder what is causing the pricing to be so much higher with the Type S Cam. Unfortunately I through my box away considering getting everything out was a pain, but I would totally return it and buy the AZDome.

I used an iPhone 8 in the video, so it should work. I would try another phone for troubleshooting or just return it for a new one since Costco is good about returns.

In the settings for video, it gives you the option to loop when card is full. Not sure if you figured it out by now. Got

I don't like the suction mounts at all. I prefer the glue mounted, as is this Dash Cam 360. My biggest disappointment is the lack of video clarity at close up and the difficulty of downloading the video content to my phone, rather than removing and inserting Sim Card into a PC. I think that the glued mount is more secure, despite the warm weather. I live in San Diego and the summer heat is often unforgiving as well, though it does not rival the Las Vegas scorching heat. Overall, this particular Dash Cam does not fit the bill for the purpose I desire.
