Hi I had a question. So does estrogen and progesterone decrease the sensitivity to insulin? If so... would a women undergoing hormone replacement therapy be at risk of developing diabetes? I am a first year med student so sorry if my concepts are not that clear. Great video. Thanks
Progesterone inhibit uptake of glucose to cells so it's make ( Insulin Resistance) While Estrogen stimulat this mechanism so it's make ( Insulin more sensitivity)
There is no clear dividing line at age 30 between type one and type two diabetes. I got type one diabetes at age 57 and still have it to this day. How many people out there are misdiagnosed because they’re age. I know you said, most likely, but most people miss that.
