I'm making a similar tutorial in French while I'm doing the upgrade but, everything is fine until I get to Typhoon upgrade. When it says no firmware on the card it should show a list of wifi connections but it doesn't. I manually go to connect the ST16 to my wifi spot and as I'm connected I get back to the firmware update screen and I fail to upgrade, same message (no firmware blabla) and no wifi connections...
I am going to echo what Yuttana Joe mentioned below...please add exposure bracketing setting! Also, why have hdmi out if you can't have a clean feed? Please add a menu selection to give you the ability to turn off telemetry or any other overlays for the HDMI output. Imagine you work for a television news station and want to provide a clean live feed out of your remote to a TVU backpack...the only way to do this now is to tap on the screen to go fullscreen on the ST 16...that's all fine until the sun comes out from behind a cloud and you need to change exposures for example. there needs to be a dedicated clean feed with the ability to turn the telemetry output back on for when engineers or other people may want to see that telemetry on a bigger screen. Please update these 2 items asap. Thanks!
I know this is 4 years later, but if you want professional options like a dedicated live output from your drone, you should probably re-read your own question and note the key word. PROFESSIONAL. The Typhoon H was released as high end CONSUMER grade gear, and it outperforms expectations on that particular grade. Don't be fooled by the mostly professional performance, this is still a consumer product. You want professional and from Yuneec, go to Yuneec's current US site, you'll see only pro-grade equipment (and prices) there now. They stopped selling consumer/prosumer grade gear because of how much U.S. buyers complained.
hopefully it will fix the problems with the last update! I haven't been able to use it for two weeks. nearly lost it on a flyaway and it would not hold steady among a host of other problems.
Latest firmware bricked my Typhoon H Pro, tried to install it 2 days ago, now it won't respond on usb even. 60 minute hold time on customer support. I haven't even gotten to fly this once, was going to this weekend because it's finally nice here in Washington. Really regretting buying this thing.
Hey I know this is 5 years old but what firmware is available in 2020?!...I hope u guys haven’t discontinued these! I think there are selling just fine... I just bought one and now my friend wants one they are at the right price right now. The hplus looks awesome but starting to get too far out of range and DJI is super high! Anyway cool drones.

I just purchased the typhoon h pro it say to update on the controller the st16 and typhoon h so is this already downloaded from factory and I don't have to download from computer. just hit update controller and connect to typhoon and update? really don't want to mess it up love and enjoy this drone everyday.
HELP! I'm trying to install the new firmware. ST16 update went fine. Now I'm on to the aircraft update. When pressing "update" in the "about controller" menu i get the warning about the battery etc. When pressing "OK" nothing happens. It just removes the warning and goes back to "about controller" menu. And now it says under the aircraft info that Auto pilot, Gimbal and realsense version that "request time out"
Why is there an edit right at 4:50? There is no explanation about hitting the back button to get the bind to take effect. It jumps over that part in the edit. I sat there covered in sweat wondering what to do afraid I would botch the whole update and brick the system. I did hit a few random buttons before eventually hitting the back button, it then bound. Can you please fix that? I got lucky, someone else may not.
I would love to be able to update this, but my ST16 keeps dropping my wifi signal every single time I go back to the home screen. I have watched every video from Yuneec and still nothing. Did I get a lemon?
Could you please explain me why I can't get into Pad (after the first step, the first ST16 radio Update) because the error messagge don't let me do anything? (the signal is "camera type is not match, please select right camera type", but when I select my camera it is not connected, that's because I need to update it, but I can't get into Pad because this message) Please help me!

I would like to ask, is there any update coming up these days, or will it be delayed, if you have any info about this, would appreciate.....my H seems to be facing some issues in wind, dont know if its a compass or something else. The thing i dont udertsnad, it flies absolutely perfect in calm conditions, but when wind picks up a bit, starts jumping here and there, you can have a look , i uploaded two videos of this. Any help is more than welcome, Happy flying mate
I updated to the latest (b25 - V3.0) firmware today, following the video instruction tutorial exactly as outlined. All seems to have completed successfully, however pressing "compass" (in calibration) does not do anything (Note: I was in an open field). Do you have any suggestions for me so that I can calibrate my compass? Accelerometer calibration is the same issue for me - trying to invoke this results in nothing happening.

Thanks, I did watch the calibration video. Trying to invoke the calibration from the ST16 using the touchscreen does nothing. I shall contact Tech Support.
have an issue with my typhon h cgo3 spins 360 deg will not stop Reset to factory recalibrated did nothing problem in Australia no service available at all why would you buy a yuneec product

I have downloaded the ST16 firmware several times and I get update package not found when trying to update the controller. problems never end with this thing!
Yuneec Electric Aviation I formatted several times. 32gb card. I had the same issue with last update and it finally took on the sixth try. I'll let you know if I get it to work. thank you
Also, you must make sure that your card even 32mb is a class 10 card. And you must use Chrome to download the file. Don"t use Internet Explorer. I use a 32mb card and don't have any problems.
So the file on the Yuneec website is ST16_V3.1.27.yuneec how the hell do you get that to update anything? The instructions suck and I would swear that I am using a DJI drone. I assume that you named the file incorrectly on the website? It should be a bin? WTF?
It wasn't till reading your comment here that I realized this, so I am glad you asked this question. I struggled with this for several hours because I thought the update file was the .bin one but that is for the typhoon H update. The .yuneec file is the controller update file and actually worked on the controller named as is (.yuneec), onto the SD Card.
Not going to up date, the features don't do any thing for me and you didn't mention that after the update you no longer have the option to turn on or off the trim switches, the default is "on" after the update. I'm happy with what it can do, I think with your firmware updates your approaching the limits of this uav. I would rather see an updated camera to rival the dji x5. Your going to have to do some thing flash as the dji inspire 2 is on the way!!!!!
There is no way I could update firmware. Too many steps, where it says "go to whatever" and the icon would not be there, everything would get screwed up. I'v been through stuff like this before. I'll just keep the old firmware.
