Forgot to leave a comment on this episode: We did not realize how shaky the camera would be while recording, however we've already upgraded the camera from the original one and there will be no shakiness on these reports moving forward. Apologies to everyone that threw up!

i really liked the stat sheet they showed in a previous report when introducing each unit, as a newer player it was really nice to just have it all there on screen, shame it wasnt in this one.

I dig this hand cam style of battle reports way more than the typical static top down view of the board, feels more interactive and you can see what’s going on more closely

After becoming slightly interested in editing and looking at all the processes for silly school projects, these videos seem several times more insane to do. Well done!

Few things for tau you dont get the -1 tohit on the ghostkeel unless the attacker is outside of 6 inches and the drone only gives it when its being shoot. And ghostkeels only have 10 wounds not 12 sadly, while cadres have 5 not 3. Also you can use savior protocols even during melee combat so you could have passed off a wound to the drone and saved the ghostkeel for a turn something to keep in mind since tau struggle a bit during combat. And the riptides and variants have a 2+ armor save not 3+

Love the style, being able to see details on the table, and the wider angle on the dice box, but the camera shake was making me a bit nauseous, had to just listen for most of it. If there's anything like a handheld gimbal or steadycam or anything that would help with that, I'd be totally sold.

It's cool seeing different factions being played. I play SM and my only WH40K enemy (My brother) plays Necrons and Orks. It's cool seeing other factions face off against each other in a non-tournament style

I like a lot about this; the canderous chat and banter, the fact it's a semi-fluff driven /rule of cool pair of lists and just for fun was a nice change from a more competitive posture (after all, this is a game, it's meant to be fun!). I like the discussion at start/end turn saying what your plan/idea is then evaluating how it went (just gives the battle an open feel). The POV shots with the hand-held cam were great, so much more immersive (just check it's resolution quality is still good) and those objective markers are very amusing :D Only thing which could improve slightly is on some prior bat-reps you've edited it a bit harder so it's come in closer to an hour, for me about an hour is right (although I appreciate not always possible without losing some good chat/moments). Maybe you want to try some more complex and themed terrain (like hills, craters, cathedrals etc.) to heighten the on-table immersiveness? Some great artisan battle-mats out there...

This brings me back. Back in 2007 or so the match up between my best friend and myself was Tau vs Tyranids.

Guys awesome job. Way more interesting than not being able to see what’s going on and watching dudes throwing dice into a box as hard as they can.

The change in format is pretty good. Although, you may want to have the person who is not rolling dice to hold the camera. (ex. If Matt is rolling Dameki is filming Matt roll.)

Not a HUGE deal but if its important in the future Tau can't declare Kau'yon when coming out of deep strike because you can't have moved before declaring it. Coming out of deep strike technically counts as moving.

Im not sure if it was already mentioned in the comments or the video, but kroot can NOT fire free overwatch 20:55. The ability to fire free overwatch is not factionwide, its an ability called "For the greater good" and the kroot do not have it.

Just a few things a noticed. Firstly in Tau turn 1 the cadre fireblade deployed scramblers, characters aren't allowed to do that action. Secondly the way the gaunts up the back were conga lined would have caused them to fail a coherency check, above 5 models in a unit models have to be within 2" of 2 models in their unit.
