FYI the Custodes Warden FNP anility needs to be declared at the start of the phase, not when they are picked as the target.

Good game gents, the dice were certainly up to their usual shenanigans it seems! Small thing for the Custodes player: but he seemingly forgot about Trajann's ability to allow his unit to ignore modifiers a couple of times(in the last two turns he could have ignored the penalties from Savage Roar both times, and on the second turn when he rolled a 5 for his Shadow In The Warp Leadership check which would have been a pass since Trajann ignores the Neurotyrants -1 modifier 😉)

Great camera angles gents, really enjoyed all the different angles and focus on what's currently happening ingame. Communication is great also. It's hard to find a channel that does bat reps properly, nothing worse then looking at two dudes rolling dice and you can't even see the models or dice.

I love seeing you two play these specific armies. This matchup was the first video of yours I watched and I've been a fan ever since :)

You have to pop your feel no pain at the beginning of the phase. Yeah it's sucks I just learned this and it makes a huge difference.

I would say that he is able to use the strats, as when he selected his target they were an eligible choice for the strat, You're battleshock strat happened after they had already been selected. Much like Magic, there's an order of operation. Most would sight the last in first out, but this isn't the same. When he chose the strats and spent the CP they were legit targets. If you had chosen to hit the unit before he chose to use strats then they would be ineligeble. Nice to see a crusher stampede played well, even with incredibly swingy dice. Forgetting Trajann's ignoring modifiers hurt a lot also.

With the screamer decrease I think its funny that its just 250 Points with a Tyrannocyte for a deepstriking Screamer killer Great game as always!

So a few things Connor. 1st, the FNP ability has to be activated at the beginning of the phase. 2nd, the -1 to would when wardens are lead by a character is for range and melee. 3rd, unfortunately bikes are still trash. 4th, Venetari are amazing secondary scorers and also are good at taking out your opponents secondary scorers. 5th, Custodes are great at holding the middle and ONE flank not both. Think about putting a warden brick on center and one side no man’s land objectives with the terminators in between to support either. And don’t forget the termies teleport. And lastly, think about putting a callidus assassin in the list. It’s a great way to even the playing field on CP since custodes have no way of gaining extra CP except to discard a secondary.

Custodes brought a 170pt handicap with the jet bike and Enhancement combo.

Sed stampede swarm in 9th loved it good to see it used again.

If am not mistaken that jet bike lord is by himself so couldnt do that fall back move since he needs to be leading a unit, also he was battleshocked by the roar strat so would have wounded on 6s not 5s at 53:35, also 1:13:05 you also said 5 gone through when 6 did

Just a couple of things I noticed: Will of the Hive Mind is once per turn, not once per battle round; and Stinger Salvoes are 0ap, not -1ap. Great BatRep though, always enjoy watching this channel

FYI Trajan ignores modifiers. So savage roar has no affect on him or his squad

Good game guys, thanks for the battle report. MVP OOE I guess. I thought tyranids were going down with the charge of Trajan, but they kinda bounced on OOE. Few mistakes here and there as mentioned in the comments, but really nice overall. Keep it up, I really enjoy to see tyranids :)

I went 2-1 at a local RTT with Crusher Stampede. BEFORE the points changes. I scored 90, 90 & 50.

Nice game! I love the all monster theme all though without the Norn Emissary it felt kinda wrong to me personally. Also, wouldn´t that be a good counter to the Custodes? Having 3 of them and let them take down 3 key units of Custodes? And i got a question. If i get in EN with my Tyrant Guard, Hive Tyrant unit, would the opponent still be able to shoot within EG of me and their unit?

Against custodes I think you would have been much better off using the "fight on death" strat, specially in situations such as the SK being charged by Trajann (who ignores modifiers as others have pointed out) Getting to fight on a 3+ with both your +1s to hit and would seems like a great use of a CP. Specially when the alternative relies on a battleshock against leadership 5 units. Also, OOE.. what a boss. Best hitter in the nids roster, not even close.

people tend to forget, that allarus ability gives them rerolls against units with characters attached too.

So im confused. Since the screamer killer doesn't bracket, does it always have the +1 to hit from crusher? or did i mishear or misinterpret what you said?

In the first Tyranid shooting phase you guys forgot about the -1 to wound ability of the wardens and for some reason you mismatched the toughness and strenght of the attacks a lot (i.e. tyranofex acid spray wounding of 3s - should have been 4s, stingers wounding on 4s - should have beed 5s)

Nope, trajans squad is not -1 to hit, thats why you bring trajan.

I dont know about using members to skew rolls. I like watching batrepa so I can see how armies perform.

Using fixed for custodes isn’t great cause you need the CP from discarding cards.

I see people using the FW units (like Venatari) Where do i find the rules for them? I dont want to buy them if i need to buy all kinds of obscure publications I presumed it would be the 30k book, but isn't that all 30k stat blocks? How would it translate to 10th ed 40k? So there must be some other publication out with 40k translstions, no?

Cover can't reduce your save to 2's e.g. @22:45 you said you were in cover and rolled two 2's and said you saved due to cover. Cover can only reduce to 3+ maximum

Firstly go nids, secondly I think you did combat incorrectly . All charges go first then the defender gets to attack back then it changes player which they decide which unit to attack back that hasn’t charge and was already in combat . Then it changes player etc
