MythicTyrant yeah that one was pretty bad too. but in the end it just came down to how good you are at turtleing. only bad part is the damn mega turret lol

Yeah I'm noticing it too. Not sure why but I had a heck of a time getting this one uploaded. Promise I'll fix it for the full campaign and cutscenes version, but this should be okay for just a guide :)

I want to destroy the mega turret and covenant base. I can save both cargo ships. Im just doing something wrong. I don’t have enough time to make the third base.... There’s gotta be something I can do...

I just did the whole thing, then the mega turret took 3 shots at my 100% health cargo ship and took it out with 10 seconds left. How do you stop that from happening?

Nine years too late but the mega turret is just RNG, though allegedly it is meant to go for your units most of the time Having the beneficial skulls on that boost health will help

Finally tackling Legendary on the XB1 version of Halo Wars. I got lucky -- the Covenant turret didn't start firing on Cargo 2 until about 5 seconds left to go but by then my cannon fodder Hornets took the blows and I beat the mission. Thanks for the guide, mate. Very helpful.

This one can definitely be a toughie. My attempt before this one was insane. Less than 60 seconds on the clock, a dozen Hornets in the air plus units on the ground, and the Covenant Mega Turret ignores them ALL and goes straight for the cargo ship O_o lol

Another way to manage this level on Legendary is to pump out a mix of Wolverines and Scorpion tanks as a screen for Transport 1. Then, with the major pressure taken off you can eventually task some wolverines and any remaining initial hornets to prevent any Spirit landings near Transport 2 making you pretty much set for the entirety of the wait. Makes it more of a guarantee that you'll come out alive if the mega turret decides to fire at the transports as you'll at least have one remaining after the near end volleys.
