Really looking forward to seeing your new trailer, the tyre fitter didn’t need to take the wheel off, just had to jack it up as super single’s come off and go on very easy with just two tyre leavers, inflate it and off you go. No need to check the nuts in 200 miles either.
Why would you lever and sledge a tyre onto a rim, and strain yourself when you have a mobile truck machine In your van? Also truck machine won't make an alloy were as levers will if your not careful

Like what your doing DC. I am looking at a new SOR split fridge for Euro work and possibly a curtain sider used ( not your old one before you offer 😂) plus a 18 plate DAF. Getting back in the game after a break from it and have a good bit of money put to one side to cover it. I like you like European rather than GB work and have had thevfeelers out for work. Problem is i have to have hand controls put in the DAF as i only have one leg. Had a volvo before and Alfref beckers of Driffield put them in so i have to give them a call. You never know we may get to have a coffee one day on the boat or wherever yeah.

just a thought dave ive got my truck fitted with a airline conection so any slow punture i can keep putting air in the tyre and hopefully either back to the yard or a fitters where i have a account
You are right about tyres in France or other countries. Spare tyre is bonus. Meanwhile your load isn't fixed correctly. If you are stoped in Germany, this will be very heavy fain and stop for continue journey. I drove with lowloader for a years, delivered marble from Italy and what i saw is really hazard.
Hi mate how do you find the actros I've started my own company and I'm at the stage where I need a bigger vehicle what's your honest opinion of the truck I'd get a set of curtains and do it up as a back up trailer you could even rent it out to generate extra income
Today I got to a well known carpet company delivering underlay and I had a MASSIVE bolt on the nearside rear tyre. The repair guy just come along and removed said bolt used a lady massager on the inside wall used a bit of glue on said area and slapped a plaster on it and said there go drive all done. Put the tyre back on filled with air and he said crack on. Lol
Dave if you get a blow out on smart motorway in UK, and cant make sos lane. They will charge you over £2k to get you to sos Lane with a wrecker before you call a tyre fitter. I had to waddle 400 yards on m6 few month ago 😞
Guys at that quarry are taking the piss having trucks drive down knowing full well you'll likely bust a tyre. I'd be claiming from them its commercial negligence
