Here it is, My First How to Video. With Billy being injured I have some spare time to show you guys a couple of things in the workshop,This week I go through my preferred way of fitting Tyres & Mousses with multiple rim locks.

PRO TIP: At some point in the process I will take the heaviest of my irons and smash whatever is nearby. The tire eventually goes on. *Your results may vary.

brilliant stan your blogs are so cool loved the last one at cymthig hill with you and the whole family i didn,t realise you had so many kids stan and on top of that you got to try that bolt bloke happy too. i used to race at cymthig on the wednesday evening motocross they have there.

Thanks Stan great tips. I just started using 2 locks on my Enduro medium. I ended up using a old valve stem that I leave in to put my tire on to the need. Learning new shit, Thanks

hey Stan, cool video! it would be cool to see what little factory tricks do billy or manny have on the bike. like the handlebar setup, wire harness setup, the safety wire in special places, hose protecting coolant hose etc. all those little tweaks that make the bikes unique. thanks!

I’m Guessing when there running a soft extreme mouse and super soft extreme tire on rocks and riding extreme stuff the tire pops off. I’ve had it happen with 2 an extreme mouse and medium tire before.

Stan i ride a tc250 22 the subframe is lower then ktm how do i feel like am sat on top of the bike rather then into it. Taller seat higer footpegs???

5+ rim locks! Is that more to keep the bead set when using a small/soft mousse, or is it to stop the tire spinning on the rim?

YES! Keep em coming! Why do the pros use so many rim locks? Does it really come down to tire still slipping on the rim even with a couple of them? Or is there another reason why? 🔥

They’ll be using much softer mousses (drilled etc too) than most. I run three run locks, but that’s because I’m a fat imbecile running a 120 mousse in a 140 Mich medium tyre (nice and squidgy and grippy)

For extreme we have to run the mousse very soft so we use a few rim locks to stop it spinning and also to keep the tyre on the bead
