You’re not the only one who commented on the sound. I have a big block 1970 Camaro which isn’t exactly whisper quiet on the highway so I hope it’s not going to be noisier. Especially over 80.
Good to hear Gordon Levin motorsports talk about race tyres. Australia must be the best race nation with all of the expertise she has. Shame about the motor industry though. Great channel.
Is this just an ad video for toyo? Because it seems like. I mean, you guys used to make awesome videos, even since the begining of this budget track hack, but this one isn't as good. Hope the next one at wakefield will be AWESOME, as always. Thanks a lot guys, keep it up.
i got 235/50/15 r888 fronts on my turbo civic, the traction is so good. what surprised me the most is r888 well out performs my all seasons in rain, thought it be other way around. so good in the rain i run them from early spring to late fall, ill have to get a set of these new r888r to see how they compare
mine are the gg not ggg compound, maybe thats why, i can dead hook in rain in 2nd gear(20-60mph) 220whp non-lsd, in the dry with my all season 195/60/14 steelies i cant get traction till 3rd gear
The Brown Garage hmm mine are also GG compound but I guess we have different cars so hard to compare, mines v7 sti at closer to 400whp so need to be a bit more careful when I experience aquaplaning
@@MotiveVideo I have learned so much from your r32 gtr videos. I really love them. And because of that i also want to buy me a r32 gtr really soon. Keep that good work up. Best regards from Germany
These tires would have no grip on the streets if it was rainging. Would probly be ok in an awd car like that wrx, but a rwd v8 would would spin all day
I have a 05 WRX which i am looking to do this exact thing with, track days, auto X and rallysprints. Any indication of approximate price for these tyres?? Next to zero price information on the web about these tyres. Would be getting the exact same size as the Track hack WRX. Cheers
Tires mask bad chassis issues...I would focus on braces and stiffeners and bushings that center subframe so I don't deal with inconsistent camber because the chassis is flexing and the subframe moves under load...
You are really making this way to complicated. Have you watched our suspension features on our time attack car and GT-R? Far more advanced but this is a BUDGET BUILD, and there is nothing overly wrong with the chassis that we are hiding and it had junk tyre son before. Any chassis mods would have made no difference with ow bad the tyres were before, so putting new tyres on is the smartest and most effective thing we could do. Its really that simple.
