I wish the Fast&Furious movies were still based on cars. The first three movies were the best since they captured car racing culture but every movie since has become so unrealistic and exaggerated. I get the franchise has to evolve to get the story going forward and have people coming back to watch it, but it just seems so disconnected and unrelated from the origins and essence of what the franchise is about.
While you have a point that the first three films captured the car racing culture, the third film Tokyo Drift has the lowest box office gross when compared to the first 2 films. The Fast and The Furious: 38 million dollar budget - 206 million Worldwide 2 Fast 2 Furious: 76 million dollar budget - 236 million worldwide Tokyo Drift: 85 million dollar budget - 158 million worldwide Clearly people didn't enjoy Tokyo Drift that much despite the fact that it was full of racing and no over the top action. When it comes to movies, it's all about the box office. So it would only make sense to bring back the original cast and perhaps make the action a bit more over the top to bring back the original audience along with a new audience. Fast and Furious: 85 million dollar budget - 363 million worldwide Fast Five: 125 million dollar budget - 626 million worldwide From the looks of it, going more over the top is what people want to see.
How could Bow Wow turn a lot of people off? I always thought it was because of the white guy that talked like a cowboy throughout the whole film with that terrible southern accent.

all these cosmetics seems like substance abuse. lower income citizens buy lower quality cosmetics. So if a man says stop wearing that goofy stuff maybe it's wrong if he will not invest in the process. The series has come far away from where it started. in both the type of story being told and who is telling the story it has the same cast and the same background but the actual series itself is very very different theme wise. It used to be about racing and now its about blowing shit up

I notice a lot of the "Team Natural" women are Regular Degular 9-5 women who simply cannot afford to get the procedures done or do not have the time (or patience) to actually work out at the gym every week. Many of them are simply jealous that the next bitch can afford hair extensions, breast implants, butt implants/injections, tummy tuck, botox, nose job etc. As Women...we have many insecurities...I don't see the issue in someone making a few adjustments here and there if it makes them more confident.
