A Game of thrones Supercut/compilation that showcases Tyrion and Bronn's funniest moments together. Them being a comedic Duo is all you could ask for in life. Game of thrones Season 8 comes back on April 14th
I stated a few weeks ago, that Bronn's lack of knowledge about being Master of Coin was a desired trait, not a detriment, in Tyrion's view. (a) Bronn had no knowledge of the financial trickery Littlefinger employed in his tenure. (There are numerous analyses of Book Littlefinger's schemes on RU-vid) Bronn prides himself on being a very straightforward fellow, who will keep the ledgers very simple and streamlined. (b) While Littlefinger was constantly hungry for the next advantage or advancement, Bronn is currently very happy where he is, thank you very much. (c) Tyrion knows how Bronn thinks. This will allow him to keep tabs on the new Master of Coin.
Yup, much easier to keep tabs on then Littlefinger whom nearly ran the kingdom into the ground by not being there to keep his creative Bookkeeping running... Littlefinger is Brilliant in managing coin, but at the same time trying to make his books legible would be incredibly difficult Bron is a straight arrow, will probably keep the books nice and tidy and easy to work with, you'd be missing out on some profits but at least you don't have to worry about an Ambitious sly bastard that is constantly working towards the next rung on the ladder
"Just because I pay you for your services doesn't diminish our friendship." "Enhances it, really." "Oh, 'enhances.' Fancy word for a sell-sword." "Been spending time with fancy folks."
“I saw you kill a man with a shield, you’ll be unstoppable with an ax.” Bronn had every faith in Tyrion’s survival skills, the only one who could even kill Tyrion is Bronn, and even when given a contract to do so, he didn’t. True friendship.
I'd think mine would laugh his out the door although in this specific instance maybe not, I might be dark That specific notion goes slightly too far, even when considering the period it is portrayed at
@@harveyrouen4655 really now, people throw that around just as much as fascist that it has become meaningless to shout it and if I may Inquire what made you say it in this instance?
Bronn was a sewer rat or cockroach. A survivor. Dragons burn King's Landing. Global nuclear war. City under siege and starving. Worldwide pandemic. Bronn survives. He was also my favorite character of the series.
I like his more in depth explanation. Where he discusses the mountain's abilities, including impressive speed for a man his size and how he would have to go about fighting him. In the end he's like: Could I do it? Possibly, if I played the fight almost perfectly. Am I willing to gamble my life on it? Hell no.
I don’t know I have a feeling bronns gonna die in Tyrion’s hands and say “where’s my fooking castle son?” I think there’s gonna be a bitter moment between them.
"The Eyrie. They say its impregnable." "Give me ten good men and some climbing spikes, I'll impregnate the bitch." Is probably my favourite dialogue in the entire series.
Spinoff idea: Tyrion, Bronn, Brienne, Lady Olenna, the Hound, and Lyanna Mormont spend 45 minutes a week snarking and attempting to out-shitpost one another.
ooohhh... yes, please. would settle for Olenna and Tyrion only, if others have no time. Olenna should've had bigger part, like dowager duchess Violet in Downton Abbey, would've saved the show :)
“After an agreed upon period of time you return it with interest.” “But what if I don’t?” “Well you have to.” “But what if I don’t?” “And this is why I don’t lend you money.” 😂😂😂😂 friendship at its finest
Lmao no Tyrion and bronn for one half and the hound and tormund the other half two team ups the hound and tormund would probably kill both bronn n Tyrion if teamed up with them, it’s already came close, luckily a battle saved Bronns neck lol .
1:44 This was really accurate for medieval Europe, people always thought 'bad kings' were simply misled by bad ministers. Subtle accuracies like this make me love the show.
People were really into the whole divine right thing. They are the king because god says so, and god is infallible, therefore their king must be infallable and if he's not it's someone elses fault.
@Nehemie Mutebwa Yeah, that kinda back fired when they were left open at the flank and wiped out by the Knights of the Vale. He also forgot to feed his dogs and ended up as their dinner. Ramsay was a bit short-sighted...
@Nehemie Mutebwa What are you muttering boy, shame, fought with honour. Only a whipped dog would speak this way, or a woman. Are you a woman ,boy? Yes, he rushed in leaving his infantry exposed, If that isn't a mistake/flaw I don't know what is. And btw I mentioned the dogs only to add a little salt.
Tyrion: "I don't pay you to put evil notions in my head... the one's in there don't need company." Bronn: "You pay me to kill people that bother you... evil notions come free." Best duo in GoT!
"I don't need you to put evil notions in my head. The ones already there don't need company." I thought I knew the series throrough, but I didn't remember this line. :D
As much as I like Bronn's interaction's with Jaime his arc in the books is so much better: after he marries he finds out the actual heir to the land is his wife's older sister who's husband, for some reason, challenges Bronn to a duel with a predictable outcome, shortly afterwards his sister in law suffers an unfortunate accident and his wife becomes the heir, destiny works in misterious ways.
"I don't pay you to put evil notions in my head, the one's already there don't need company." "You pay me to kill people who bother you. Evil notions come free."
Varys is the moterhugging champion of background facial reactions. Watch the “i am a king!” video where Tyrion threatens Joffery during the small council for amazing examples
The dialogue truly fell off a cliff after season 6 “Oh we’re friends now...” “Just because I pay you doesn’t diminish our friendship” “Enhances it really” “Oh enhanceeeesss it” “Fancy word for a sell sword”
Even if season 7 and 8 were a shitshow I'm really glad that bronn survived to the end of the show. He was my favorite character pretty much since his first appearance.
Poorly executed scene? Yes,but it made sense, after all it's not like Bronn has changed, he's still a mercenary, a cutthroat, a selfish warrior. He got close to Jaime and Tyrion, that's obvious, but he never had life-changing moments nor his goals ever mutated.
@@mattia1026 You don't remember that time he tackled Jaime out of the way when Drogon was gonna Kentucky fry his ass while abandoning a pouch of gold in the bargain?
@@cobaltCarnivore He did an action which would benefit him emotionally by saving someone he cares a bit and most importantly more selfishly gaining further profit in lands, titles, etc. It was pretty clear since they started diverging from the original story that D&D went with a noble status seeking Bronn, I see few contraction with such a take, given that season 7 and 8 certainly don't lack contradictions with the previous ones and within themselves too.
he should've left for the Summer Isles after Tyrion left King's Landing. I'd be soo pissed if he sacrifices himself for Jaime or Tyrion. That's the worst thing they can do to a sellsword like him.
If he does it’ll be for Tyrion than anyone which would actually make sense just listen too Bronns tone in the last scene when he says you too, back too Tyrion saying good too see you, their genuine friends no matter how much of a tough guy act bronn plays. I think he’s become slightly attached too Jamie because it’s Tyrion’s brother and the gold that follows every Lannister lol
It would make sense, his arc is that of a selfish sell sword making his first true friend. For him to give up his life as the greatest act of selflessness would show the full change he made and just how much Tyrion means to him. How he’s willing to give up everything for a friend
They didn't. Bronn is a pragmatic dude who is pragmatic about the state of the world. He was offered a shitload by cersei and basically took a second route to avoid killing Tyrion.
@@dennis123138 It's more about how Bronn acted. He will always be bought out by the highest bidder, that's not a secret, but the way he lashed out at Tyrion was as if he had been wronged by him at some point. He was way too emotionally mean-spirited for the Bronn that we have seen and has been established. Every time he has acted violently, he has shown restraint and even a cool-headed sort of pleasure, but never anger or hatred (unless in full-scale battle where he looks possessed and fighting multiple enemies), In the vale when he acted as Tyrion's champion, he gave Lysa Arryn the chance to stop the fight when it was clear he had bested Sir Vardys. He looked at her and the room, gave a little smirk because he knew he was better and would win and after not hearing a surrender on her part, he killed him. Look at his exchanges with Meryn Trant. He threatened him and was threatened by him, but he never looked enraged or off-balance. With Tyrion and Jamie he practically through a Joe Pesci mobster level tantrum.
I really want to thank you for this content of yours. All of your Supercut videos are a gorgeous way of remind us what an excelent show this was. Thank you.
The general scene was at 1:51 and I probably should have kept the part in where Bronn says "I'll swap all your books for a few good archers" and corrects Tyrion on the author's name.
Bronn: Imma knight now. Knight's'r worth double. Tyrion: I don't even know how much I'm paying you now... Bronn: Which means you can afford it. As the people say....Gods the writing was strong then!
I love Tyrion's face when bron asks how much older his women have been lol plus how offended he looks when bron suggests he wants to sleep with Sansa xxx
Nah, hes an egoist. Every action, to his perspective, is based entirely off what benefits him. He however doesn't delude himself into thinking hes virtuous, he knows who he is and doesn't try to play the hero
When I watch this, I just think how different the first half and the second half of the tv show are completely different. Seasons 1-4 was peak GoT and honestly a masterpiece.
Remember when Tyrion said to Bronn that he and Cersei would make a perfect match, and Bronn just flashed an awkward smile? To me that was subtle and funny because the actors that played Bronn and Cersei were a couple before (way before GOT started I think), but I heard they didn't have a nice breakup that's why Bronn and Cersei never shared a scene together, or at least seen the two characters in one scene
