Y’all got a steal niners fans! As a LSU and Saints fan and also being from Baton Rouge where TY is from. This man is a headache to tackle for 4 quarters! He gets better with more Carries. I see a lot of people upset at the pick, you shouldn’t be!
@@breezysports4962 lord knows I was praying we drafted him and paired him with Kamara since Ingram on his last days. I hit the floor when the niners took him
He has great vision, great footwork, hard to tackle, but can we acknowledge how beautiful those blocking schemes were? Offensive line coach deserves a raise
What a great compliment to a dangerous running game trap play inside could having poping nobody else would like to run into this run hello what a great draft
I suck at player comparisons but Ceiling: Todd Gurley/Jay Ajayi Floor: CJ Anderson (Broncos) Comparison: Nick Chubb Well anyways, welcome to the “Bay Area”. It’s a pleasure to have this dude on my 49ers.
I want this Guy to be our our First Half RB all Power Bell Cow To Help Our OFFENSE tire Down The Opposing Defenses, I want him to be Punishing Menacing, I want him to Run With Animosity! Then you can turn it Loose To Your Home Run Threat RB's Like Trey Sermon mix that in With Some Elijah Mitchell 💡💡💡💡
I really like Ty Davis-Price so a little sad seeing he got waived today, but Niners backfield too stacked. Hope he gets an opportunity or we maybe he'll sign on to the practice squad.
That dude a bust! He’s hesitant to hit that hole wasted pick! He looked good in college but pros he runs high prone to injury. Hopefully this kid from lsu pans out. He’s the opposite than Sermon he hits that hole. Be rooting for this kid. Go niners❤️
Reminds me big of Mostert. He is fast but still can truck, stiff arm and break tackles. He might be better because he can juke better than mostert. Iam happy with this
The whole thing is holes ain't always open in the NFL , you gotta be great at making nothing to something. My opinion Elijah Mitchell already proved last year he's the man I don't know how many running back a teams need but the 9ners got 1 to many
I’m a huge LSU fan. He’s a power back, he doesn’t have that great of acceleration but a solid top speed. My complaint is making that one guy miss or finishing a run. Like the big run against Alabama in the video. LSU didn’t score on that drive, where he ran it into the 5 yard line. Alabama won that game 20-14. He finishes that run, maybe LSU would’ve won. Love him tho because he made spectacular flashes at LSU, wished he stayed an extra year
I completely understand this pick he will contribute more than you think. I’m so glad we got a RB I didn’t care who it was I do not like Mitchell at all not one bit it’s pathetic what passes for good these days. Trey Sermon needs to settle down before the snap and relax and he should be they guy and Ty is the punch. Sermon wants it all in one play if he settle down y’all are gonna see something
@joseph Cornish zero vision gets sucked up by LBs and suppose to run a 4.3 run straight towards defenders knowing he’s not but like that, the success he had was because of the offense and players in front of him blocking and working extra. But that’s your opinion and this is mine and like I said it’s a sad shame what passes for good nowadays
@@armonirykiel7860 Close to 1000 yards in 11 games. Not bad for a sixth round pick no one thought would start a game. His biggest issue is durability. He also hit the rookie wall by the end of the season. Davis-Price will reduce the punishment Mitchell will take. Mitchell isn't good enough to be THE guy. But in a running back by committee situation, he will be a valuable contributor.
@@samuraigeorge71 we’ll see just how good you think he is this season any one of the backs could have done that in this offense. If Sermon wouldn’t have gotten hurt it would have been the same thing the dude isn’t good hell really none of the backs are that good but I would have went with Jeff instead of him. A RB with no vision couldn’t be behind my line
@@armonirykiel7860 Both Mitchell and Sermon were healthy when Kyle decided to start Mitchell over Sermon. The 49ers overused Mitchell by necessity. That should not be the case this season. He'll be a good change of pace back. You shouldn't dismiss what Mitchell did. Without his contributions this past year, they don't barely make the playoffs.
This is like a highlight for the LSU trap play. Price does absolutely nothing. He gets what's there and that's about it. Not saying he's good or bad just not a lot to see here
Patience and footwork. The ability to get in the end zone when hit by 3 players. I doubt he’ll ever be a superstar but if you can get a solid power back in the third rd that’s a good pick up :)
