One needs to grasp the MO of the Roman Empire when discussing the issues of historical Palestine. The Romans did not expel enemies, they crucified them. When the Romans finally had enough of the Jews of their day they captured and crucified the leadership that they could catch. The Rabbinate escaped as they could, they were not expelled. The rest of the people as a whole remained in the land and changed with the winds of time. The original inhabitants converted to Islam at one point, these are today's Palestinians with ancient roots to old Jerusalem and the Judaism of that time. But after the Balfour Declaration the East European Jews with Ashkenazi bloodlines began to flood to Palestine, at that time under British jurisdiction.... But the essential thing to grasp here is that it is the Palestinians themselves who used to be the Biblical Jews and Philistines, both Semitic speaking peoples who have intermingled all throughout the area's history. \\][//

This is how this can be fixed, the U.N mandates a homeland for the Palestinians that is exactly as the borders were drawn up in 1947. Then heavily sanction israel until it complies with the worlds directives, which must be to force israel to end the illegal occupation of Palestine, stop building illegal settlements in Palestine and bulldoze the ones that have been built. Ostracise israeli's from the world until they've done what the world says. This whole thing has been caused because Britain illegally gave jews a homeland in the country of Palestine and then the U.N mandated it. The U.N must make israel stay within its borders.
Yep.... Horrible collatoral damage. But instead of only summing up the destruction on the palistinian side I'd suggest talking about why Israel is attacking those structures. Israel knows well that it has no gain in war but it wont roll over and play dead while missiles are raining indicriminately in Israel. It is hard to except for most people but sometimes the strongest side is right. Human live is what Israel is fighting for (with all the dramatic effects that follow) while the Hamas, Islami Jihad and Hezbollah are fighting for Israeli deaths with the aim to kill as many as possible. Israel is being punished by the public oppinion for having the capability to defend itself. Billions went into the Iron Dome and bunkers, all the while the Hamas put there money in weapons of assault stockpiling their rockets and keeping the money for the elite.
