You certainly don't blame the people who gave your so-called "government" the opportunity to coexist with Israelis and Jews. When your family is oppressed, starving and in shit conditions, you blame the organization that broke 12 ceasefires and spent YOUR aide money on terror tunnels and rockets.
You selected Hamas yourself and now you complain about these Israel attacks (which are counter attacks for Hamas attacks). You get what you ordered! The land is as good as its leaders, next time select better leaders and this would not happen.

The terrible thing is that both sides have people who just want to live their lives. Both sides are mostly made up of people who want peace, but their scared and look to people to protect them without realizing that those are the people to be scared of.

May I suggest Israel supplies the buses for a one way trip to the West Bank while the Israelis settled in the West Bank get a one way trip to the Gaza. The Palestinians that want peace get nice homes and Israel gets the Gaza. Israel doesn't fire missiles at the West Bank and that might be because the West Bank doesn't fire missiles at Israel. Hamas swore to drive Israel to the sea, so that is what Israel should do to Hamas and anyone that supports Hamas. Those Palestinians that want peace will have it.

However, Israel returned the Sinai and made peace with Egypt. When they returned Gaza to the Palestinians, they have had missiles fired at them ever since. Anyone who allows Hamas to launch missiles at Israel from their own yard KNOWS what is going to happen. So if women and children are being killed, here are the possible reasons: 1) The Palestinians are too stupid to realize missiles launched near their homes will bring a violent response (I don't believe that). 2) Hamas is ordering the families to stay, knowing they will be killed. They are ordering men, women and children to die. So YES, I blame Hamas. Violence will always breed violence until both sides want peace or one side is wiped out and I am betting that Israel will eventually wipe out Hamas and anyone supporting them. The Palestinians are suffering because of Hamas, not because they are Palestinians. Otherwise, Israel would be wiping out all Palestinians in Gaza as well as the West Bank and they could do so within weeks, not 66 years.

What about 160 children killed in the construction of tunnels into Israel for the sole purpose of killing civilians? Each tunnel costs $3 million to build. 30 tunnels have been built. Wouldn't $90 million have gone far re: education, hospitals & infrastructure? When Israel uprooted almost 9000 settlers from Gaza in 2005 they left businesses and homes. 3000 profitable greenhouses were left untouched, with the offer of horticulturists to assist Gazans with the transition to maintain and operate those greenhouses. All were smashed by people in Gaza. Israel supplies electricity and gives aid and treats Jew and Arab and anyone in their hospitals. Like any other state it maintains border control, necessary for those who are in power, Hamas, whose sworn purpose is to uproot the "Zionist entity", meaning killing ALL Jews, to make "Palestine" "free from the river to the sea." That means establishing a pan Arab Caliphate with NO JEWS in the land that was legitimately established by the San Remo Resolution in the '20's.

The IDF instructs civilians and tells them where to evacuate. Don't tell me I'm wrong because I've seen those leaflets during OPE and OMTL, I know what they said, the IDF drop them all over the communities well before an actual attack happens, so I don't want to hear any more horseshit about "where do we evacuate." Believe me, they are instructed. The problem is that Hamas forces civilians to either stay where they are, or they force them to the roof of a known target in the name of being a martyr. Why don't you people question why civilians stay where they are when they are told to leave?
First of all, even Israeli police admitted that kidnapping of Israeli teenagers had nothing to do with Gaza, yet Israel used that as a pretext to attack Gaza! Secondly, in the absence of a regular army, even if Hamas weren't there, there would be some other entity to take up arms and fight the occupation, as did the resistance movements through out occupied Europe during WWII. Thirdly, Palestinian Authority in the occupied West bank has put down arms and recognized Israel for nearly a decade. Yet. Israel has never stopped confiscating their lands, building new settlements in there and connecting them with Jewish-only roads and highways that cut through Palestinian farmlands, threatening their livelihood!
If American and Canadian Jews think the Palestinians are not entitled to their own lands then they should heed their own beliefs and get the hell out of North America since these lands are not theirs and rightfully belong to the Indians.
I pray for the safety of the Palestinian people Israel is wrong for killing civilans and claiming its Hamas, using them as human shields that is a lie, its about Israel trying to exterminate the population of Gaza and the West Bank. It is my understanding that the people of Palestine consider Hamas to be their government, but Israel does not acknowledge Hamas as the Palestinian government, so therefore Israel excludes Hamas from any respect or consideration and ignores Hamas and does not negotiate with the elected leadership of Palestine, so Hamas is outraged by this and does not go along with the "negotiations" that always exclude their democratically elected government. If this is so, it is of course sick but shows how everything seems to warp when entering this zone of dishumanity. I used to fight when I was a kid, but if my opponent backed off, the fight was over and I won. When will Israel back off? And what is wrong with Israel?
