I’m glad they’re using their PT belt. Nice feeling of security. 🙏🏼

Should have used a separate chain for the crane and for the winch, and adjust telescope as to keep the load directly under the crane and avoid damage to the boom

I just finished tracked vehicle recovery for the Army, and we do use wreckers for mired or overturned vehicles, but we love evolved and try and use m88a2s for this now. Great training video though! But m88 all the way

Nice footage but that is a U.S. ARMY unit doing a training exercise. It isn't a Marine Corps unit

How many people does it actually take to recover?
@sharpshooter7127
@sharpshooter7127 3 года назад
@@JS-ty7yh usually just two people but during training exercises everyone gets involved
@lilcourtny08
@lilcourtny08 Год назад
@@JS-ty7yh one or two, usually if you are on a mission one more person is in the vehicle. It's a training exercises not what would actually happen in a combat zone or deployed.

can you ask them if their wreckers would be capable of doing tow ups on the coqahala highway of fully loaded semi trucks and if they would be willing to do an experiment with a heavy tow operator to see just what their wreckers would be capable of towing civilian wise as ive always wondered that they may need to pack cold weather gear as it gets cold up there in Canada especially up in the mountains
@chriswiggins396

Power wise it could handle it. But the stinger is not designed for the weight of a fully loaded semi truck
@chriswiggins396

Also it wouldn’t be practical to use this kind of truck for everyday civilian use
