I built two of these, this and the United States, the rare one. I figured out one thing when following the instructions for rigging the lines to the masts. The instructions don't tell you to rig the lines furthest to the center or I should say closest to the mast first, then work outwards from there. When I tried the way the instructions say, I'd be tripping over lines with my tweezers.
@@LCModelShipBuilding I figured I should say that. I know this is a tempting model for beginners to try. I built one when I was about ten and it didn't turn out great on the rigging.

Looking utterly magnificent there Larry, isn't done I know but it's looking great. Nice looking model rail layout also, you got a great talent with your artistic skills and creativity. The USS Constitution your doing is looking like the real thing, can't tell which is which. Great work on the rope work, the blocks, tackle and ironsides look incredible, personally speaking.. I really love the anchor work on these good looking old sail ships, it's quite the iconic symbol that shows the glory of the ship. They really don't make really good looking ships like they used to these days. Out of interest, please don't think I'm being intrusive because I'm not.. truly I'm not, but when you get round to doing the 1/200 RMS Titanic, do you plan to use the LED set up in the kit or are you using another form? Your ship is looking epic Paul, coming along beautifully.. masterful performance indeed. 👏 👍
Hey Joe, You got the wrong name lol I’m Larry. But yeah on TItanic I will use some of the lighting but most of it will be custom. If you’ve been on my Facebook page for LCModelShipBuilding you will see my previous Lusitania, and Queen Mary 2 builds you will see a fair amount of lighting that I do. It will be “yellowed” down to give period correct appearance much like I did in the Lusitania series.

I don't know what's wrong here, well actually I do.. sickness.. heat sickness.. it's like a furnace over here in the U.K, got the house dark, fans are on.. still feeling sick. Headaches, dizziness, and sending up bile.. when I get like that I get mixed up with names like no tomorrow, trip.. stumble.. get seriously exhausted.. I want to move to Iceland right now.
