This show is the first on U2’s 4-month American Leg in support of The Joshua Tree. We have one hell of a night tonight. This is the 2nd of 4 times we have Bullet The Blue Sky as the opener, aswell as the first live performances of Helter Skelter, a cover originally by The Beatles, and One Tree Hill, a beloved song from the Joshua Tree. We also have the 2nd performance of Silver And Gold. Bono is in great voice condition here and the band are on fire. We have some nice versions of Bullet, Streets, Exit, the previously mentioned Silver And Gold, a rocking Helter Skelter, a nice One Tree Hill, and a great “40”. Overall, a great show to start off this long North American Leg.
