Unbelievable. Amazing how Bono was so touched by the horrendous stories of the poor families involved. Crazy to think U2 were in their 20’s and writing this amazing haunting music. Peace to everyone 🕊

I think this is at least top 3 in my favourite live performances by them, no joke. So underrated. So powerful. Brings me to tears

This song has been going through my head a lot as I finally learn to confront "the disappeared" from my own life.

This version is simply fantastic , bleak and beautiful at the same time , this alone kills Achtung Baby, and I love Achtung Baby !.

Esta canción significa mucho para mí. Soy salvadoreño y viví la guerra civil de mi país en los ochenta. Tuvimos un famliar desaparecido y solo el llanto de aquellos que no saben el paradero de los suyos supera el lamento de Bono, quien vivió en carne propia la angustia de la guerra al encontrarse en un tiroteo cuando visitaba mi país a mitad de los ochenta. Gracias por tu sensibilidad.
