When the Park Meadows Mall was originally built in 1996, a 6-plex movie theater was built inside. It had two levels. Upstairs was a fairly mediocre 35mm movie house. Downstairs was kind of like a Showbiz Pizza or something. It did have a Showscan 60fps 70mm projector for "rides". It sucked. This was not built far away from UA's Greenwood Plaza 12 theater, so we at Greenwood generally hated this place. Not too long after this place opened, UA built a stand-alone 12-plex theater outside of the mall. I got to help take this theater apart. So I was there to help put it together and disassemble it. Very gratifying. Not sure what is in place of the theater now or if they just blocked the area of the mall off.
