California law and jurisprudence seems to recognize front yards and driveways that aren't fenced as public places because members of the public can come to your door without restriction. If you're invited over to someone's house, and you're talking to someone else because a number of you were invited, the host does not "have the right" to come and assault you because they don't like what you and the other guests are talking about. If she wants to come and say, "Hey, do you mind turning off the microphone for a second so we can talk?" And if the person doesn't do that then she can say, "Alright, if you don't want to be reasonable, then I'm going to have to ask you to leave." And at that point if she doesn't leave, the host can call the police. Honestly, all she has to do is say, "I'm a well off white boomer and the person who is trespassing is brown skinned" and the cops will be there so fucking fast your head would spin. To reiterate: speaking is not a threat, even if someone is saying something you don't like, unless what they're saying is LITERALLY a threat, like "I'm going to cause you bodily harm." As university staff hosting a university event they extended their house into a part of the university. They used their class and race privilege to silence a justified, peaceful protest.

Thanks for sharing. I realize that many of the protesters are letting their emotions causing them to forget that Hamas started this war. They share an equal blame for the loss of innocent lives. They really care about what's happening in the region, turn some of that energy towards asking Hamas to be honest and do the right thing.

When the girl started out the wife came down the stairs after the husband was telling the girl to stop and leave.
