As the global temperature increases, Arctic sea ice is rapidly melting, and the summer sea ice is expected to be gone in less than two decades. A team of UConn researchers is trying to learn as much as they can about this sea ice to understand its chemistry and what a future without it holds. Follow the researchers on their expedition in the summer of 2023 where they sampled the ice and conducted their studies in the surreal and rapidly changing Arctic landscape.
