We look into the future and take a look at what players UConn is looking to sign in the 2025 and 2026 classes. The are have their hopes on landing 2 more players for 2025.
Good assessment. Geno's checklist is well known: Excellent basketball skills. Committed team player. Family that will not interfere with how Geno coaches and plays. Finally: He will make no promises regarding starting or PT and they will wants to come to UConn. Stay tuned.
@@eleanormedina6703 - He has answered this question many times before. He took the UConn job because they were the only school that offered him a head coaching position. He went there thinking that in five years he could build a program that would get him an offer to coach a men's team. None came. By then he had moved UConn from 12-15 to 25-6 and been in the Big Dance twice. Why change? Besides the men's game has become a side show of slam dunking and showboating. The women play basketball... below the rim.
UConn is still in for Jazzy Davidson in 2025. I think that is unlikely though. Abii, Hall, or Jerzy would be huge for UConn. I think they are going all in on the Big O. She’s another slow player though. So, I don’t think she solves UConn’s issues. McKenna W is going to South Carolina or Notre dame. UConn is too late to get into that race.
I believe Azzi will leave in 2025. She has already graduated. And I don’t see her staying a year without Paige. She has been here long enough. 2025. ZaKiyah Johnson. She released her top 6 today. And UConn is out. I think somfai is a lock for 2025. I personally don’t rate her. And I think UConn is crying out for athleticism. Johnson would have helped a lot.
B2S I’m a huge UCONN fan but you seem to be essentially doing repeat videos from a few weeks or months ago. Please don’t tell me you are attempting to be the new “Hamilton Niel” :) The WNBA is almost at midseason. Why don’t you give them some love? The W at this point especially this season is way more intriguing than reviewing way to early college prospects.:)
I might do a mid season report on WNBA but overall just too predictable . Like the NBA. I plan to continue to preview college teams , college players and really get to know it better to be more informed when season starts.
