Kids don't need to get into Lego with an $800 set. They're fine with $10~$20 sets. I'm not going to knock people who buy rip-offs. You spend your money how you want to. I know I wouldn't be happy with a knock-off, but to each their own.
@@bloodymarvelous4790 Why ? If it was a designer clothing sure cuz you cant replicate the material. But this is just fucking plastic loll. Imagine spending over 500 bucks on plastic brick because brending. Its Lego bro, not Tom Ford LMAO
it’s all the same shit. look at fashionreps and all the clothes they can make too. all the same arguments. save ur money and just buy the knockoff. especially legos, they’re all plastic lol
@@bloodymarvelous4790dude 10-20 bucks in lego will get u a brickhead.lol. How r kids supposed to have fun with that. When i was a kid for 40bucks u could get somethin sick like an laat
Thanks for making this in depth video man, you've really swayed me into ordering the ali express version of this. I was questioning the quality but from the high reviews on ali express to your positive review and overview, I definitely feel like it's worth getting!
I’ve bought loads of Lego stuff from aliexpress and had no issues at all! The only negative I can think of is the delivery time but I’d still rather wait than pay the ridiculously greedy price of official Lego!
Yeah, but here's the thing. I don't know why people don't know this, but when you 'knock-off' a product you DON'T have to pay for licensing (especially Disney), you don't have to pay designers, or graphics people, packaging artist, the people that create with the design team the instructions, etc. All you gotta' do is rip off the instructions, the parts list and the graphic files that Lego already paid for. Then the knock off guys only have to pay for printing/manufacturing the bricks. That's it. See how that would LOWER the price considerably. And considering how the knock off guys are charging so much, for doing so little, these sets should be even lower. They don't have to pay for millions of dollars of production for product. Think man, think.
@@tezzadezza9174 So you buy from a counterfeit brand that stole the designs. I guess they’re thieves but at least not greedy. I assume they give all their profits to charity. LOL!!!!
@@ShortRound42 …Because as we all know, Disney and Lego are well-known for paying their “design teams” so well as to necessitate a 400% price-increase. Lmfao. “tHInK mAn tHINk.”
I ended up getting the real Lego one used for $540 but I’m tempted to buy a fake to do a side by side! This looks just like the real one and for a fraction of the price..
It is probably lepin, though I can't be sure because it wasn't labeled. I think they are a little more secretive about putting there brand out there for legal reasons.
Looking at my version of this set and the minifigs. the Veers in my set looks exactly the same as the Lego one same with Luke. Seems like they updated the set
Stop supporting companies that are clearly ripping off Lego designs. How would you feel if you spent a heap of time and money designing something and then have someone just copy you, they are stealing design and stealing money that they would have possibly made.
I understand your point of view. Some people think that Legos are way overpriced. Some people can't afford those prices. I think Legos are the way to go and the quality is unbeatable, though I don't think Lego is going to go bankrupt because of some knockoffs.
@@jubei20111 Trust me, these knockoffs would be a lot more expensive too if they had to pay for design, licencing, marketing and so on, like the brand that they are ripping off.
290$ is what I'd expect to pay for a molded plastic building toy.... 800$ is ridiculous and they know it is....they also know people have zero discipline and will spend that amount.
