this is such amazing play. This video, ones before it, and especially the ones when you play. they never fail to amaze me. to say that you are an inspiration to me is an understatement. thank you for this.
When I first found this channel I feel like so many of the videos I watched were just like this and in this same gym that this video feels like home to me lmao
for sure! i love seeing a setter being able to use his middle even on a off ball like that. these are guy are big enough to hit a nice quick way off the net.
@@arravolleyball I have no idea what you are talking about, either because I am not a native speaker or you misunderstand my point or both. I also play volleyball in European club being the only Asian player and I learned Xia's story through his middle school classmate in Beijing. I am not at the level as he is but I am proud of seeing both him and myself in the starting lineup, most of time, in a team in foreign country. I simply don't get it someone would understand it that way and accuse my comment as "Racism". I do enjoy the environment of the teams I played in where 99% people are among the kindest persons I've ever seen though it is not 100%. Given the volleyball videos you upload, I think you share this feeling.
@@kimnorberg9783 I just don't like when people are rooting for others because of their race. I think we need to treat all races equally and root for all them the same. For example, I don't root for my race over other races, that's all I'm saying. Because when we say something like "oh look how great Chinese people are", then what about other races? Doesn't that put the other races down because you aren't mentioning them? The Chinese player is amazing because he's a very good individual, not because he's Chinese. Hope that makes sense. That's all I'm saying.
@@arravolleyball this makes absolute NO SENSE sorry. I am not rooting Chinese race or saying others suck, this is simply a praise for the great work a Chinese has done to his team, has proven to the real "racist" that races do not matter and has accomplished in a foreign club with mixed culture backgrounds no matter it is univ. or pro. club. I have no duty mentioning all other races and this DOES NOT mean I put them down. I am not saying some player is amazing BECAUSE OF his nationality, I am saying Chinese, the most discriminated race in your country, can get the job done as well, and #7 is Chinese. Simple as that
Technically, yes as I slowed it down and saw the double. However, good no call. In live speed I didn't see the hands contact at different times. Spin is not what decides a double, only whether we see the ball contacts one hand first or not.
I wish UCSB didn't complain as much. twice on over calls they were already yelling at the red before he could even make a call. Great talent, weird attitudes
That definitely doesn’t look like 30mph. In D1 mens volleyball, spikes and serves can top 60mph easily. One of the OHs of Penn State played for national team last year at Pan Am Cup, I’m sure 30mph spikes can’t get you on any national team
