We continue our journey from Udhampur to Banihal by share taxi and catch the 4:25 pm DEMU train to Srinagar enjoy Jammu and Kashmir’s world class roadways, which passes through many tunnels through the mountains and the valleys. *We will pass through the 9 km Long Dr. Sayama Prasad Mukherjee tunnel*, which is a marvelous engineering feet . Finally, the DEMU train ride from Banihal to Srinagar reveals the breathtaking landscape of the Kashmir Valley in winter.
*In the evening we set off to the vibrant Lal Chowk*, where we explore the local cuisine and soak in the sights and sounds. You will see the magnificently lit-up clock tower chime to her glory!! The Bazar that sells all things from clothing to dry fruits is amazing. It is a shoppers Paradise. We then indulge in some *Lal chowk’s best hot momo's, barbeque mutton, the world famous Kashmiri mutton Pulao and wash it all down with some hot carrot Halwa*. What a night it was guys.!!
