We all wish there was no crime. But bear in mind crime is everywhere. The UK and US are just as crime riddled. They just don't hang their dirty linen in public. And we don't have mass shootings like in the US.
But it's not just crime that's holding back Jamaica. The general population lacks vision, and lacks a broader world view. The place is too ignorant. The society is unfocused and not prioritizing correctly from a basic societal level. No matter how much development you do in Jamaica the overall institutions of the country are too weak to develop and correct the behaviours and the minds of the people generation over generation. That's why the island is in a state of decay. It's not just about endless development of buildings and roads.... the society needs to get real. Stop listening to music about pumpum, gun man, and pure foolishness and model yourselves after progression, forward thinking and not regression and psychologically warfare and badmindedness. The country is going nowhere!
