Hey, just got the Tier X last night! Used crew books to get a solid three skill crew on it, I’m liking it a lot so far. The UDES 14 5 is one of my favorites, I love being able to trade with Progettos and T-44s. Imo one of the strongest ways to play this tank is on a ridgeline smacking those lightly armored mediums every 10 seconds, very fun tank

@@rexmexzilla yea but you exchange speed and gun handling for armor with the Chinese tank, not to mention gun depression. T-34-3 is more of a brawling medium, but yeah in respects to trading with lower alpha meds it’s nice

@@cincin795 I like playing against UDES too because it has no armor so you can just shoot it anywhere. I feel like the best tanks are tanks people enjoy both playing with and playing against

The 10 seconds also allows you to drop out of view and be unspotted to attack from other angles

Still my only tank I got a Pools Metall with after 18k battles^^ Honestly i loved this tank back in the day when I was grinding through it. One of the best tech tree tier 8 meds.

My favourite tank to be fair, its awesome when played to its strengths, turbo, exhaust, optics, gives you 60mph and 40% moving camo, 499 view range and as you mentioned the alpha. Shoot and scoot. Spot half the world, easy life.

Swedish medium line is super sweet. Decent mobility, amazing gun depression, high alpha and amazing camo for a medium. I liked the Leo, I had fun playing tier 8, I'm having very good time with tier 9 and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have a blast playing tier 10.

@@hipioty I haven't played wot for a while now, well over a year. IIRC I tried both and settled with the big alpha fatty, it may have required quiet a bit of premium ammo but you just gotta deal with it and you may use HE on occasion, penetrating something thin and wrecking havoc is always fun.

I liked the tank, unfortuantely I wasn't as good of a player as I am now when I played it, and I rather played it/compared it like the UDES 03 TD, which means I rather had a Sniper Schnitzel playstyle which did not unlock the full potential, I felt like the gun is slightly derpy every now and then.

I really thought I was gonna like this thing before I got it cause of the gun depression and hard hitting gun but holy crap the poor hull traverse makes it feel way more sluggish than I thought it would. I don't think its a bad tank because of this but I always feel exhausted after playing it.

REEEEEE i just 3rd marked the tier VII Leo basicly played it same as UDES just pop up blast someone for 300 damage and go once more the gun handling on this tank is just amazing.

I'm loving this tank. As with the Leo and Lansen C it has no armour so like you said pkay as a support and punish mistakes with your big gun. Woha!

I totally agree with limiting lights tanks to 3 maximum per battle, more than 3, as Skill says, is just madness. I hope that WG will care about your comments, Skill, I believe you and many other community contributors can help to achieve the game that this community deserves

This was by far my favorite vehicle in the entire Swedish MT line. The gun is incredible for a tier 8 medium and the good camo stat allows it to play deceptively aggro if needed.

I just got this tier 8 with the top of the tree discount on my 2nd account. My first battles were disgustang, but I sacrificed some free xp for the biggest gun and the tracks. Now we are playing :D The difference is huge.

I didn’t like the Leo too much but I still have it because it leads to the heavies and I don’t want to sell it. Imo it’s just not flexible enough with the accuracy of the big gun, but with the small gun you have pretty much no advantages over your same tier mediums. I like the UDES 14 5 much more

My stats with this tank were way better than it felt like. The problem about this tank is that you need to aim fully to hit anything so in stressful situations I missed too many important shots.

Should get my 2nd mark on this today or tomorrow. I actually have been performing way better with this than the STA-1 so far. The alpha damage and shell velocity are *chef's kiss*, and with the low profile you can be a decent scout. My main issue so far has been the gun absolutely trolling me some games, multiple shots in a row diving into the dirt. Also it seems when Im working a ridge line, I've eaten a lot of shots from tanks that I had no shot on, so the forehead definitely can be a bit of an issue. But overall really enjoying the tank.

I like this tank, though the grind to get the top gun was painful. I was hoping that Skill would have talked more about how the siege mode works with this tank. As in, does it start as soon as you stop? After a few seconds? Etc. I had heard that this had great gun depression but it took a while to see that it required the siege mode to get the great gun depression. What strategy do you use to take advantage of the siege mode? Do you creep to hill crest and let mode engage before peeking? Would like to have heard more about that from Skill.

It engages automatically when you're under a certain speed, maybe 15 or 20 km/h? So you've got to be aware of your speed when trying to use it.

same here. its was pain in the ass.. aim time is like 3 sec. and constantly missing shots.... and no armour still.. i really don't get how skill hits most of his shots.. realod was like 12,3 sec.

i absolutely love this tank. 360alfa is monstrous on VIII. medium. camo is also very, very good. mobility is good too same as gun handling. everything what i could ask from tank. with indian panzer these are my favourite tier VIII. and how am i playing this tank? just smart, that is all it needs to be xD

Personally I love this tank and the gun is treating me really well. It has the 'Russian gun handling' and it just combines things I like including speed and gun depression thanks to suspension.

I don't remember all the details but it's something like that. Edit: I did some digging and I guess their beef go further back and it's in more detail if you want to look into it, just type both of their names in Google and look around

My only issue with this tank is, funny enough, the gun. Yes it hits hard, but the accuracy for me was disgustingly bad. The penetration also seems like a bit of a lie; I bounced some weird shots where 217 pen should definitely go through.

I bought my way out of this tank. Too many Tier 10 battles with it and even the premium shots couldn't pen the commander's cupola on most T10 tanks.

Honestly, i just hate the pneumatic suspension, it feels so clunky and ive missed so many shots because it randomly starts tilting the tank, id rather have 4 degrees less gun dep without that gimmick.

It does take some getting used to, but I enjoy using it against same-tier mediums with lower alpha. You can use it on a ridgeline to poke over and out trade Progettos, T-44s, Centurions, etc, I find it very powerful both in long-range sniping and ridgeline brawling

@@Flash4ML It certainly is strong, played the t10 udes recently and medium range quickpeeking while exposing only your turret is deadly, but again, the suspension sometimes trolls you, so you cant peek as quickly as id like. I prefer TVP, suits my playstyle alot better

@@darky1188 fair enough. It definitely can troll a certain amount. I find that the tier 8 has a much better siege mode. It gets the gun depression faster and smoother and gets more of it too, if the tier 10 had the same siege mode as the tier 8 it would be so good, maybe even op

This tank is beautiful. It has alpha damage, shell velocity, gun depression, decent mobility and it's also sneaky with good camo. It can fight ridges, trade from up close with other mediums like Progetto, smack distracted enemies, even act as a spotter or be invisible as a TD and play the bushes. I love the flexibility. Of course, it has no armor and the DPM isn't great, but it's super rewarding if you play around those weaknesses. I even like it more than my Lansen C. And I really like my Lansen C

What I love about this is you doing a gameplay in a tank many give up on at the behest of several players to show how to play the Udes 14 5 (personally I hate it). You don’t need to do this which is the great part! You pick your battles, You poke and shoot and retreat, You strategize differently according to the map and have map awareness of allies as much as enemies , You know the properties of enemy vehicles, You played the tank to it’s strengths and weren’t hiding mistakes when you died, and those are the lessons of game play. You are the Skillman.
