Sonnen is doing exactly what he has to do and that is sell this fight. I went from just ehh about this fight till sonnen started running his mouth and now I'm like "I really want to see this fight". Good job Sonnen, way to pull people to the sport

i think chael just realized at the very end when silva stared him down that this fool aint playin around, anderson looked beast mode in that pink sweater hahha
Griffin said he was on quaaludes when he fought Silva and in his other last two fights he couldnt finish and was barely willing to engage cuz he didnt want to get taken down. At the end of his last fight, he even said he was surprised by Maia's striking. Sonnen is willing to take a beating to get through to Silva, so unless Silva gets a KO (and Sonnen is reputed to have a good chin) or a submission (Sonnen's weakness) Sonnen has a chance of a decision or at least some good ground and pound.
Does anyone understand what was said to Matt Hughes when he said this is the funnest press conference I've ever been at. It sounded somethin like, "You wont after it will ya" was that what you guys picked up? Around 4:40
what chael said is right. he is in the entertainment business. sports is something people watch for entertainment, to amuse themselves. Is he being arrogant? yea, sure. Is he saying things that will get him hated by fans of the sport? Maybe. But what is he really doing? he is getting a following. Whether it be a negative or a positive one, he is drawing people in to watch him fight. whether its to watch him win or get beat up. He is saying a lot of these things from a business standpoint.

Silva is a true Artist as far as Martial Artists go.. he's been training with Seagal. Lets put it like this Chanel is about to meet PinHead from Hellraiser and in Pinhead's horrific words..."Chael, your pain shall be Legendary"
I don't care if Sonnen does lose, and loses 10 more times in his career to Silva, he's quite possibly one of the coolest and most hilarious dudes in MMA, he;s entertaining, realistic, and a dedicated athlete, shit he deserves his own talk show.
@RICHPAV913 He said when the guy in the shark stew gets done sayin' our name, which is to say that the octagon is like a bowl of stew with 2 sharks in it and that's what it's about, a shark fight. The guy says some absurd crap but he definitely brings charisma to the fight game.

Sonnen is a great showman man. I really didn't like the guy before but he makes me laugh. Not the whole, "he has no chance of winning" type of laugh. He just says some hilarious stuff. Really knows how to hype a fight. Just excited to watch the fight either way. But my eyes are on the Fitch/Alves fight! WAR Thiago!!!!
People dont realise that chael is just cracking jokes. Its not tough talk. He just wants to entertain, his main draw is his sense of humor. That being said, chael is still the man despite the adversity
he might be arrogant, but he really did back up %100 of what he said and what he was gonna do in that fight, and gave silva the worst beating of his life, hes the man.
Why would he ever get the chance to rematch ,it didn't even go to decision. It was a fair and square submission. It was a complete victory even if it was last round.
Oh my god. When i saw Anderson-Chael staredown i laughed out saying: ''he's fucking dead'' Chael is so fucked. You could see he's nervous, licking his lips and whatnot.
