I get what you are saying. Different personality types. I like Diaz as well, just a different sort of thing. You need a balance. A little attitude can be fun, as long as you don't start looking like the WWF dramas and all that. But it's good to have classy guys like this in as well.
I wish there were more guys like Rumble in UFC. He's fucking monster, but he's also humble and classy, true sportsman. It's kinda pity, that so many people need all that trashtalking and shit to buy fights.
All the shit McGregor and Diaz talk builds up the fights and adds drama which makes it more interesting. If every fighter were as humble as rumble there would be less money involved. For example Conor made 3 million and Nate made 2 million off of the fight purse alone. Rumble on the other hand made 135 thousand. Quite the difference. The reality is, our society is more interested in the drama and big egos as it ups the stakes when someone wins or loses.

Ive had enough of it... the bottlethrowing was sooo childish and silly... and do appreciate more rumble / trex type of fighters... all class but deadly in the octagon... I am also big fan of DC, but I hate his demeanor when jones is around... I do believe jones is better than him and DC cant swallow it, he envies that jones is / was peoples favourite...
I like that Rumble told people to stop booing DC, people need to get in in their head that Jones is an addict and DC is champ and should get the respect he deserves.

So let's review. Nate Diaz wasn't even in the title DISCUSSION before his first fight with Conor. He beats Conor in the first fight and gives Conor all he can handle in a very close second fight. To all you Conor fans, this does not say very much about your hero. Think of how the MMA world regarded Nate before that first fight. Nobody cared about him. Then he became a nightmare for Conor. Imagine what will happen when Conor faces much better fighters than Nate......
I agree with you but the only thing is nate has a better chin than everyone in 145 to 170 minus carlos condit. Conors shots would knock out a lot of these guys.

Does everybody really think McGregor won? I'm completely unbiased and enjoy both of the fighters a ton, but I just cannot see how diaz didn't win, he clearly lost the first round, but imo he definitely won rounds 2 and 3. 4 and 5 were shake ups but I saw them both in favor of Diaz. What do you guys think? I mean part of me knee once it went to decision they had to give it to McGregor if you just think logically of the money involved and Diaz gets the biggest pay day of his life regardless
Round 2 diaz got fucked up early but then started getting some shots in but he never rocked conor. U have to give the 2nd to conor he knocked him down. 4th round conor outboxed him most of the round, everyone knows conor won round 4. 1,2,4 for conor, the only controversy is round 2.
Maybe I need to rewatch round 2, I recorded the fight so I'll take a look back it, did anybody else think those knockdowns seemed like Nate was purposely going down to get McGregor to jump on him?
Not only does Rumble have some of the most lethal hands in the UFC, he's also the most humble and kind-hearted. He will forever be my favorite fighter.

EXCELLENT EVENT! cowboy with that great combination, rumble showing the beast he is, Cody putting another W to his record and that war between Conor and Nate just topped it all off. brilliant fights tonight and great respect for rumble showing how to be a respectful sportsman.
