Watch Conor McGregor in the Octagon as he receives his two belts after defeating Eddie Alvarez to become the UFC's first simulatenous champion in two divisions.
“I would like to take this chance to apologize to absolutely nobody.” *in that instant belt arrive absolutely perfectly timed on cue. Everything went this man’s way in legendary fashion.
J H yeah I feel like he was gonna apologize about something then joe said “here’s ur second belt “ and in an instant to absolutely nobody the double champ does what the fook he wants perfect timing
This is just so badass, everything in this interview was perfect, the timing of the lines, the "apology," "I dreamed this into reality" and even the "your welcome"
I feel the same way =) The greatest performance & accomplishment ( 1st 2x Division Champion ) & the greatest post-fight interview speech that I've ever seen.
@@zwepainghtet7389 conor believes that he is in the best form ever today he looks in the best shape of his life he says but we find out the day he fights dustin
“It’s been an honor calling your fight Conor, thank you” “yeah you’re welcome” 💀 The absolute confidence and electricity this man had during his run was second to nobody. There’s a lot of great talent and characters in present day UFC but nothing has compared to 145-155 Conor
The most gangster UFC interview that’s ever been done.. "Yes Joe , YOU’RE WELCOME"… holy shit this was Mcgregor at his pinnacle.. An absolute animal.. I’m curious to see if we ever get to witness greatness like this again from him, or if he’s past his prime and let the money get to him.. Either way, I remember watching this fight and being absolutely shocked at the clinic he put on.. and people wrote Eddie off as if he’s some random fighter, Conor did this to an Eddie who was at the top of him game lets all remember that.
It won't come from Conor, but will we ever be able to witness a spectacle of this magnitude again? The entire world would tune in, non MMA fans knew him, and MMA fans were on the edge of their seats during each fight and he just kept doing the unbelievable.
@@nickh4676 I don’t think so, 5 years ago I thought Adesanya could’ve had a chance, but he’s not as captivating and charismatic as Conor and has fallen out of favour with fans in the last 2 years. Khabib had a chance too, but retired prematurely. I’d say Khamzat has the potential to be absolutely massive in the business, but his inactivity has been problematic. Even then, nobody can replicate the hype and excitement that Conor generated, we’re gonna miss this guy once he’s hung up the gloves.
@Chad Barrett Its called paraphrasing, not quoting. Look it up. If you are going to change the subject, at least get it right on what you are changing it too. You mixed up quoting and paraphrasing.
@Chad Barrett In English if you quote someone, you put "quotation" marks. That is a factual rule. If you dont put quotation marks, then it is not a quote. Educate yourself
This was the most epic post fight interview in UFC history, my god Conor was a magic man and i am not sad about what happened in hist career after that. This is a journey. You rise high, you fall down. But everything is shaping up to whole picture. Love You Conor, despite all the shit You'r talking. You gave me so much emotions during Your career, every time You enter that squared circle im feeling pumped up for what is about to happen. IRE
bro he entertained us so much throughout the years... he's undeniably the biggest draw in any fighting sport history even bigger than money himself. The charisma and the trash talk were very special especially when he was able to back it tf up. But the higher you climb the harder you will fall. THANK YOU CONOR :')
For some reason in his recent fights he makes so many mistakes. Also he doesn't utilize different striking "weapons" anymore which makes him more predictable. Specifically his use of kicks and feet movement has changed.
The lads that said "Anderson Silva, you absolutely suck", "Conor McGregor, you're taking everything I work for motherfucker" and "I'm going to be drinking Coors light. That's right Coors because Bud Light wont pay me anything" would like to have a chat
That might be forever the best moment in the ufc. He knock out the champion with his hands behind his back and then delivered the greatest line possible it couldn't be better even trying
William Robert I was talking about the things he said around this time but I’d you wanna nitpick go ahead William, I can already tell with the name “William” you hate him cause he’s Irish
@William Robert 3 fights you mentioned, 1 of which is against the best defensive boxer of all time. Which translates to 2 in MMA. out of 22 wins with 19 ko's. Kick rocks brotha give credit where credit is due
28 years of age, broken every record in the game and now a hall of fame worthy career aswell. We are watching an active living legend ladies and gentlemen.
He was hall of fame worthy after Aldo. Conor just broke all the records and now he wants equity. Literally to own the hall of fame. The man is on another level.
when did anjos pulled out Aldo was offers the fight and tired it down witch would have been a immediate rematch and you can't blame him for avenging his loss over Diaz
He merc-ed Jose and Eddie. Both decisive as can be, but you can't call him a legend? First double champ in history but you cant call him a legend??? The biggest star in UFC history but you cant call him a legend. :/
Wow guys, just wow. I expected Eddie to at least give him a run for his money and grin d the crap out of him. This was a beat down. Plain and simple. He didn't even get close to a take down. Conor smoked Eddie. Dang!
Brad Vlogs easy money fight hahaha Eddie and the rest of the conor haters learned what they should have know and that's conor is not a fluke is a phenomenal fighter.
Might not be the best ever, might not be the most winning, but he was and will always be the most important and influential MMA fighter of all times. Legendary.
@@AnjuMaximoff First of all, he’s not British, he’s Irish. People from the Republic of Ireland are not British and he’s from Dublin. Second of all, if his accent sounds Scottish to you, you probably never heard a Scottish accent in your life. Or an Irish one. Last but not least, mention one other American sport in which the most influential athlete of all time is British. “Ofc” my ass.
The Mcgregor Era was a hell of a ride man. Edit: After a year of seeing y'all bicker and argue about whether its truly over or not in the comments. It clearly isn't over but it clearly wont ever be the same...and that's the bottom line. Thanks for top comment honors all of y'all.
I feel you man, Conor took and showed us mixed martial artist to another level of fighting and entertainment! This Conor will come back and win against the rematch with Khabib!
This dude sure is entertaining but he's a joke as a fighter. He doesn't take fighting seriously after his win over Aldo. Remember this is his last win lmfao he never won a fucking fight since then 😆
its very rare you can pin point the absolute peak of an athlete but this was one of those times. His performance on this day was hands down the best MMA performance ever.
i did. i still remember where i was and with who. me and a bunch of friends got together and saw this. i remember yelling "where da fook is ma belt!!" like 10 times that night haha now whenever i see someone that was with me at this fight they tell me that line to greet me haha
It’s true this was a truly exciting time in the UFC. No one, absolutely no one could sell a fight like McGregor could. After all, you are here watching this video of his octagon speech so jokes on you 😂
johnny kim kim one of the reasons his interviews are unbearably hilarious. He's so passionate and screams in the mic but no one knows what he is saying.
I wish he never went to box after this 😣, while Conor wasted his last 5 years, Dustin was going through wars beating former champions and evolving. There is no shortcut to success. Dustin has surpassed Conor Mcgregor sadly
He wouldn’t have as much $$$$ if he didn’t box mayweather, he accomplished what he wanted by becoming the double champ, I would have made the switch for $100 mill lol
Kia Chesnut Yup Joe said that after the last Alistar fight when Alistar was saying repeatedly Miocic tapped cuz Alistar was still seeing stars, Joe said he would quit UFC, if they made him interview KO'd fighters.
Say whatever you want about Him He Did What He Dreamed of Became the Featherweight Champ Became the 1st ever Double Champ And Became the Richest UFC star till date He Earned the Belts and All the money he ever wanted No Denying that 💯
His Prime was one of the best in UFC history. The way he finished his opponents (Marcus Brimage, Jose Aldo, Dustin Poirier, Eddie Alvarez) It was absolutely Brutal. People can mock him now, but can't take away his legacy. First Champ Champ ALWAYS.
Rogan - It's been an honour to call your fights Conor - you're welcome How the fuck can you Internet dweebs not enjoy that man? He's a modern day Ali. He talks shit and kick ass. That's what this shit is about.
This man got me into MMA! The first time I watched him fight he ko aldo in 13 seconds I’ll never forget it! If he didn’t go and box I’m sure he would of been a 3 weight world champion…noting but love this great man ❤️
@@felixdavis3451 i think peak conor would have had a good shot at 170 as well, since the division wasn't as packed as it is today.. sad thing he fell off so hard, it was truly a marvelous run
@@LeoneWorlds those who care for their legacy? at some point money and fame is not bigger = better.. sometimes you should be happy with less and at the point of the mayweather fight mcgregor was already set for life... he could have still done the fight somewhere at the end of his career, but the timing he took for that fight was horrible and it ruined his entire career and legacy
I always want to remeber this Conor and this moment as it is my most favourite moment in any sports history...shit played itself like a fucking cinema for him back then
He learned a lot from that Diaz loss, he's really technical and safe now that it looks too easy. look back at chad Mendes and now, Eddie is much better than Mendes that shows Conor really worked on himself.
YEESSSS. He fought just like he did in the Diaz 2 fight and was WAY more composed and didn't use up energy on a capoera or spinning back kicks. He was as efficient as possible. He's going to be VERY hard to beat from now on.
Shamlan Hasawi hard to compare Eddie and Chad when Eddie only has 5 UFC fights and only won 3 of them. Conor's 21-3 with 10 fights in the UFC losing only 1.
At the pre-fight presser, Conor took the coat off of Mrs. Claus just to prove a point. Oh, and in case y'all don't know, thats the other woman he got pregnant because unlike Khabib or Aldo, Conor doesn't pull out at the last minute.
@@soldierforchrist2017 you're not a champion if you never defend your tittle, you're not a champion if you got double stripped to another division before you defend your title . That's a fact .
i love re-watching the old McGregor fights, it was a mad awl time and great while it lasted, hopefully there's one or two good fights left in him and a few more conferences for the vault
@Flarem moved up from featherweight to 170 in a short amount of time, did good at first but completely gassed out, second fight was a sure 48-47 for conor
That's what im saying. Whoever fought Poirior last week is not the same guy as in this video. This Conor is gonna make a comeback. Get ready for round 2😡🐐
InTouchWithChris So was Aldo apparently, then mendes was because his wrestling and same with Eddie except "he's bigger" now khabib is the all mighty Mcgregor stopper lol stop
+InTouchWithChris that's what you guys have said about Eddie, nate, aldo and mendes. You guys must have a pre picked list for the next guy Conor has to face because you know he's gonna smoke everyone.
Fun fact. The second belt he got was Tyron Woodleys belt. Conor was supposed to bring his featherweight belt and then Dana wrapped the new one around him. So thank woodley for this historical moment too lol.
Chad Barrett yes he does you fucking clown. Have you seen Conor vs Aldo at the end? Or Conor vs Diaz at the end of both fights? Smh you’re such a fucking casual if you say Conor doesn’t have respect. Joe even laughed along with it because he knew it was a joke so why can’t you do the same you clown.
President Donald Trump good luck with draining the swamp lol trump has just gone back on pretty much everything he has said he was going to do, just another puppet, shame on you dummies for thinking this guy speaks the truth
