Interesting to see how this chapter of Conors career plays out. After re-watching the fight closely I think that Conor came out looking sharp. The leg surely affected his whole game in the 2nd round, making him lose both speed, power, and precision in his shots. He will be back. Respect to both warriors.

When Connor is not playing his part, he is the nicest: humble, rational and honourable. I really hate the persona he's created, but I respect and connect to the human underneath, and those who can't see past the trees will never see the forest.

Just before the five minute mark, when he talks about adapting his stance, that's excellent advice, I think. It's good for fighters to get comfortable in both stances. If Connor adapts, and recognizes the different styles, that he's in a division that isn't going to just let him counter-left and win the fight, he can really bounce back. Wish him the best.
