He is boring because he can barely speak, what he does say has no depth, and he can't put up any art. It isn't just yelling or trash talk. There should be some preparation though and some clarity. I think Usman kind of sucked, but at least he was clear and had prepared.

Izzy is way better on the mic than Usman. Usman studies Conor and Chael to learn how to talk. Izzy speaks in his own way and it works. Izzy is one of the biggest draws in the UFC.

It was Usman's honestly pretty good at talkin shit now. He had some nasty digs at Masvidal leading up to their second fight and now here too against Edwards.
Leon has definitely improved as a fighter but I’m more impressed how far his personality has come. He still may not be the best speaker in the world but he come a long way and comes across as a likeable genuine guy these days.

Leon Edwards is an extremely good fighter. But Usman has been through so many wars. Ive had some of the same injuries and surgery's as him and I can't believe he still performs as good as he does. He really is something special.

Saying, at 35 with multiple knee and hand surgeries... that Usman's been thining about going to 205 from 170.... should tell you some thing: he (like Dustin, who talks about going to fight Colby at 170).... is about to retire and is just talking nonsense. He's too small, even for 90% of the 185 guys. Guys like Costa, Vettori, Whittaker, Cannonier... they'd just pummel him silly. He doesn't want to fight Izzy, fine. But all the other Top 5 at 185 will just pummel him silly, as they are naturally bigger, most are taller, stronger, and as well rounded as he is. Anyway, given his compromised knees and hands, with him slowing down so much the last 2-3 years, he is not going to get past peaking 30 year-old 6'2" Leon. About 7 years ago, with Leon being a journeyman and with Usman starting to peak at 28, without any knee issues..... age, skills, & physicality... they all gave Usman advantage. Today, 7 years later, almost every thing has reversed....
Usman honestly has grown on me as a person. I always respected him as a fighter but he would make me physically cringe on the microphone. Now I actually look forward to his press events.
I wanna see Leon win but damn I kinda agree with you. Depends on if he'd have a lot of good fights as champion, he could gain a lotta respect with dominant performances like how Oliveira has been doing lately down at 155, everyone likes or at least respects him now I know I for damn sure do he's scary.
Edwards vs Masvidal would definitely bring in some buys because of the beef and of course Masvidal's clout. But yeah, you are not wrong outside of that. Maybe a Colby vs Edwards just because Colby acts so controversial and could possibly bait Edwards to act out of character.

The wins are relevant with Anderson but it's the level.of the competition when he fought...usmans fought good competition but Anderson has fought great fighters and legends of the sport in their prime.
For some reason I believe Leon when he said Masvidal would've been dead if they found him. It's always those Cat's with thick accents and high squeaky voices that you have to watch out for. I love how Usman admitted being nervous.
