The Shevchenkos are russian/ukrainian who grew up in kyrgyzstan live in Peru and Thailand and work in the US. There aren't many fighters who organize their intire life around martial arts.

@@voodjin Shevchenko is an ukrainian name. Her family is of ukrainian origin but i assume they were assimilated into the russian-speaking minority in kyrgyzstan.

I think she beat Nuñez and also take in consideration that she was too small in that weight class she literally only had to cut a couple of pounds when Nuñez had to drop like 20 pounds to make weight. The division she is on right now is her perfect weight class. PS. Hit the like button if you think Valentina is beautiful and Tough.

Valentina was gaining weight to fight at 135, she ate what she wanted and didn't diet at all - her walking weight is around 133 judging by everything she's said in the past whilst Nunes probably walks around at about 155.
