Actually he did, Kimbos and Masvidals street fighting videos were quite a big deal back in the days. At least in the US and Central Europe. Of course not well paid, but both made their money in MMA afterwards

Professional boxing fights use 10 and 8 ounce gloves usually, not 12 ounces. Plus those ounces are spread around the whole glove!

that is called Lethwei my friend, go check out the videos on youtube. Headbutts too. knees and elbows, full clinch in traditional rules, no point system, knockout win ONLY, other situations all = DRAW, doesn't matter how bad one end receives the blow, how bloody the faces are, still a fair and legal draw. sometimes no weight restriction as well, but that went obsolete a while ago, because they need to promote fair sporting standards that play along into the rest of the world, other than that, the burmese don't give a damn

For bare knuckle the long term effects are going to be with cuts and scar tissue. But in regular boxing you have a much higher chance of brain damage due to being able to take repeated blows to the head
