UFO Burger! that eating without spilling - korean street food 

The idea of having cooked food retain its' temp and filling instead of spilling out is such a blessing

I'm kind of amazed that this hasn't made it to the US. It's certainly something I'd like to try.

The crunchy sound of the lettuce, beautiful thick slices of red tomatoes, crispy sliced onions, cabbage, juicy ham, corn niblets, some kinda sauce that goes "blurp" when you pour it, seasoned flame seared beef,............... I WANT ONE !!!!😇💗👍👍

This channel is awesome. When language was seen as a barrier, they removed dialogue and just concentrated on the emotions around food which is universal.

I really loved how the iceberg lettuce was being washed, and how the tomato was cut into pieces and put on top! They looked so fresh! The cheese on the beef patties and the flamethrower was pretty impressive.

"Space Burgers" were sold at the Seattle Center in the early 70s. Basically a Manwich in a rimmed, steamed bun.

In South Africa we call that a "Burger Pie" 😋. Another version is called a "Jaffel" and it's made with sliced white bread

I think the key word here is fresh! Everything they use is fresh from the buns, the lettuce, the meats. Love how they infused with a cabbage/ham salad.

One of the reason I want to go to South Korea : Their street food is next level.

To those saying there isn't anything like this here in the USA... there used to be. Back in the mid-1960's, I was eating something very similar to this that was served at the "Food Circus" (a big food court, now called The Armory) at the Seattle Center. It was the same flying-saucer shape, with hamburger and chopped onions inside. The sandwich was called the "Space Burger", which made sense since we were in the middle of the Space Race with the USSR. There are a lot more ingredients in this UFO burger, but it is the same thing as the "Space Burger", more or less.

When I was in Korea, a guy just outside our army base made something called 'Yakki Mandu' (not sure how you spell it). He fried up dumplings in a bit vat of grease and poured a ton of salt on it. Tasted awesome. Wish I could find the recipe.

In our small town in north plains Oregon there was a burger joint and these Asian family owned it this had to be back in the early 90s they served ufo burgers . They was my fav . They had a press to seal them
