Just picked one of these up from Amazon (UK) and can say that they have improved the parts of the boiler now. Mine has a two part section in the middle with the exhaust grooves laser cut right through the plate. This makes it much easier to start running and has the advantage that you can reverse it to make engine spin clockwise if you prefer. Nice looking engine, easy to build and ran straight out of the box (even starts under its own power without having yo touch)

quick question: how long does it move with 1 filling of water?

Loaded with 10cc distilled water it takes 1 minute 20 seconds to heat up and start. Then it produced steam for 3 minutes. It is a heavy model and stores a lot of momentum... coasting for an additional 4 minutes 20 seconds.
