I just wanted to let you guys know how much joy you have brought back into my life with this awesome Model Tower Windmill. Too much these days we all forget about the smaller things in life that bring us much joy! Thank you for wanting to bring that all back through your Art work. From West Virginia
I've built several of these UGEARS models and I have never been disappointed. These models do require great attentionto detail and the instruction book does great at catching your attention to show you to be careful which way you put the pieces on. UGEARS is starting to include building tools in the models. To fully enjoy these, please have the following items on hand when building: small clipps (nail clippers), 220+ fine sandpaper, white candle (to wax gears), wood glue (in the event you break a piece, most can be glued back or most breaks or tears have minimal impact on the model, some type of hobby knife (I suspect one day they will start including the disposable hobby knives with the kits so that you have everything u need when u buy the model to build it. The main thing is to take your time and build sections at a time and take breaks to avoid frustration. In the event you have difficulty getting a piece together, work at it slowly, take your time, try waxing, then sanding to get a fit. You also have to learn just how far you can bend this material before it breaks, that comes with building and feeling how the pieces flex....well that is all I have for now. these are well worth the price!
I bought one a couple weeks ago. I'm a model airplane guy but having built die-cut/crushed model airplane kits in the 70s-80s I saw the laser cutting and just thought THAT is beautiful! What a fun pre-bedtime project for parents and kids! . And made in Ukraine! They are works of art! Beautiful as they are you could customize the heck out of them.
Just built my first ugears model, the very cute Dice Keeper. Such a relaxing pastime, I'll be working my way up to bigger and better models very soon! Thanks ugearguys.
They are great. I've completed five. However, they are expensive. If you break a small part, which is easy to do, the model won't work. I've emailed Ugears asking for a replacement part, as they devise you to do, but they never replied or sent the past. So three of my models are just ornaments.
@@ugearsmodelsua yes thank you, I have almost the majority of your beautiful collection but I spoke of beautiful aircraft as in the early 1900, as your two steam train
