It is a special version of the Blackhawk. The Night Hawk was a short lived USAF special forces version of the Blackhawk. It was designed for Air Force Para rescue special forces teams doing combat search and rescue operations behind enemy lines. The idea for the drop tanks was for when they flew deep into areas that a tanker couldnt get to them safely. The Night Hawk was more or less a proof of concept aircraft that they only made a few of. It was further improved and matured into what would be called the Pavehawk which replaced it. The Pavehawk did away with the drop tanks and attachment arms but gained an advanced weather radar on the nose and the PAVE system on its exterior. The Pavehawk is now being replaced by the Super Jolly Green 2, an even more advanced version of the Pavehawk.

Thanks, Roberto! Greetings to Venezia! The oil paints are from an artists supply, nothing modelling specific. They are dissolved in white spirit what you would use to degrease or clean brushes for painters to make a wash. but there are readily mixed washes available. They are also very thick, usually, and need to be thinned, at least for my liking
