Hi Paul, was hoping to get an understanding of the wiring for the LED and various parts. Could I send you an email to check?

Great setup. I couldn’t exactly figure out the wiring of the frequency controller, the relay and power to the lamp. I want to try this lighting system but need a little more detail. Thanks.

Cool setup! why did you choose to go into 30p instead of 24p digital?

In the 1970's 30 FPS SD video was standard. The projector has a 5 blade shutter specifically for this format.

Hello May I ask, optimistically, is that lens good enough? Was it just for prototyping, and have you replaced it, or are you still happy with it? I have not bought one off Amazon before, it is cheap, but then again internet things often are cheap and still good. Also, will it go in far enough for 8mm film do you think? No harm if not sure about that question. Thank you very much, Braith

Check out my 16mm 4K film transfers on my channel. They were all done with this lens.

Hey Paul, I tried to copy your setup, but didn't replace the 500w tungsten bulb with an LED light source. However, when I try to record, all I get on my BlackMagic 4K is a white square. Does that bulb produce so much light that it exceeds the camera's capability to record? I know the projector works because I have watched the footage against the wall. Should I get a smaller wattage bulb or should I try to set up the LED light source like you have?

Yes, the tungsten bulb is way too bright need to use the LED panel like a adjustable LED radio light cube

Hi!, Interesting video. I did something similar but I put a microswitch on the shutter and use that to trigger a still camera shot. The one issue I struggled with was the lens. Could you repost the links in the video description? They don't seem to be functioning and the text is not complete. Thanks

@@paulcotto Hi Paul, Could you please repost all of the links for the components? They are incomplete and I'd like to build the same telecine setup. Many Thanks
