Cheers for the mention mate. You’re always posting great, no-fluff content so it’s a breath of fresh air to watch your videos. Hopefully you pick up a sponsor soon and this channel continues to grow! This video really helped too, as always, so thanks!
New subscriber today and watched a few of your videos. Really good content and found this one especially useful. My thought process has always been that leasing a car always had a catch. This has done a fair bit of ‘myth busting’ for me and has changed the way I think about car leasing. Keep up the good work
Thanks for the shout out Jim. I genuinely enjoy the stuff you put out which is helpful, amusing and delivered in straightforward no nonsense terms. You deserve more subscribers and I am sure the numbers will steadily grow so please keep up the content. I do have one *simple* question though, can you explain the meaning of life please?
Thanks, very informative I'm probably going to lease my next car. Probably not for a year or two. But after watching a number of your videos it seems a good option
@@fredbettesworth5397 take your time mate, prices are so high at the moment on used cars so a lease makes sense but new car production has been badly affected by the microchip shortage (video coming on this tomorrow) - it's a great time to look for "in stock" lease deals.
Thanks for the mention Jim, we are taking the mini to a mini dealer cos other lad can't mend it, but it didn't stop him wanting to buy it from us lol 😀
No worries Angela and thanks for all the support. Good luck with the car, strange that he wanted to buy a car he couldn’t fix, maybe he knew more than he’s was letting on??? 🧐
Thanks for the video Jim. I leased a car after watching your channel for a while. I wonder if you know the answer to something I recently thought of. My car is on a 3 year lease, meaning that its first MOT is due as I hand it back. I guess it's my responsibility to do it but I'm not sure. Do you happen to know?
There’s a really easy fix for that Mike. Send it back the day before the MOT is due. I’ve done that every time. Also remember that when it goes back the tyres only have to be legal, they can be any brand.
Hi I had a problem with my lease car and it was in the garage for a week and there was no curtesy car available it was a real pain not having a car for a week Is there any sort of service or insurance that gets you a car when your lease car is not working Thanks
Hi David, a lease car is no different to any other. It’s a new car under warranty so if it goes in for a warranty job the dealership should provide you with a replacement car or hire one for you, it usually comes from the recovery company/roadside assistance company that your brand subs out their work too. If the car is in there due to something that’s your fault that’s a different matter. 👍
They’re having a laugh mate, If it was a warranty issue. Was the work covered by the warranty? If so they should provide you with a car, either one of theirs or a hire car. Sounds like sh*t service.
